I know for guys, if a woman is a virgin it's "usually" a turn on. I'm wondering if it's the same for women, when a guy tells you he's a virgin...
As my friend went out with this guy and on the 3rd or 4th date things are going well she brings up sex and such, and would like to know about the past sexual encounters he might have had and such. He responds back that he's still a virgin. She obviously wasn't expecting this as the guy is in his mid/early 20s and just graduated from las vegas, yes sin city!, anyhow to cut to the chase...does it turn you on or not?

Matter not one way or another...advantages and disadvantages to both but depends greatly on the man.

Not a gal so I can't vote, but I will say that my first partner adored the fact that I was still a virgin at 22. I wasn't terribly happy about it, personally. But I guess that's what happens.

Depends I guess. If I loved him I wouldn't care if he was a virgin or not. It's purely circumstantial for me.
If I was to find a man near my age who told me he was a virgin it would make me run the other way.......because there woud be something wrong with that picture ;)

I am neutral...although I slightly prefer experience.

I can see where you're coming from with that one, BIBI (although I'm pretty young and virgins at my age are still quite common ;) ). I tend to go for men who're older than myself, so if I met a man that was in his thirties or forties that was a virgin, I'd run away too no doubt.
NOT because he was a virgin in the technical sense of the word, but because there would probably be a legitimate reason that no other women had slept with him, whatever it may be. Too weird for me.

While it would take more than a guy being a virgin to get me interested and turn me on, I have a thing about giving people 'first' experiences, a fetish that gets harder to indulge in as I get older.
The idea of a guy being ready willing and grateful to accept my teaching is a huge turn on, and the idea of a guy being wide eyed and amazed at the wonder of my feminine charms is definitely an appealing idea for me.
Plus, a guy who doesn't screw around is always attractive to me. A nice quality guy who doesn't go in for one night stands and meaningless sex is always going to be a hit with the ladies.

haha i think that it is a huge turn on... i'll admit i teased my s/o about being one for a while because I am not one. but the more that i got to know him and love him i respect his decision and stand behind him in it whole heartedly. we've been together for almost a year and he's still a V. I won't ever ask him to give up that to me, it has to be a decision he makes for himself. (but if he offered i'd gladly accept! LoL)
Plus there is a huge difference between having intercourse and oral (i dont know what your defination of being a virgin is). Trust me, oral... wow he's increadible at... but no intercourse here. and I'm quite ok with that.

My last boyfriend came into and left the relationship a virgin. Knowing his reasons, it made me slightly more timid then I would have been normally. Though it did excite me to think I may be his first. But I suppose it wasn't meant to be. *sigh*

If someone I was interested in just happened to be a virgin, there would be SERIOUS fantasy material in the idea of being their first. But just because someone's a virgin doesn't mean I'm automatically interested. People I'm interested in become fantasy material whether or not they're virgins ;). It's more about the individual than the state.
