I am curious as to where you guys think is the sexiest place on a woman to find a tattoo?

Honestly in many, MANY cases a tatoo is a huge turnoff for me. I don't mind one on the groin, which is popular, or on the lower back. Sometimes I find they're sexy, especially if it's something very intricate and exotic looking. If you're thinking of getting a tatoo, though, Lil, I'd say don't. You're elegant the way you are and your old-fashioned sexiness is really something I admire. You're a role model for young Pixie girls everywhere. :)

For me its definatley the mid regions. ie lower bak (just above your ass) or to the side of your mid section. Because if it is a tatoo guys might like to have that suprise (depending on what it is) should be the last kissable area before things get really steamed up (lol only used for special occasions)

I kinda like the lower back tats...there is just something naughty about them.. ;)
I would consider one of these...they are temporary, but if one was serious, I am sure that they could be duplicated for a permanent one...

It's a rarity that i agree with Shadow_Kitty that I am not a hge fan of tatoos. Only because of the perminancy of it. I know DangerousPet came back ones with a Henna that said "Sexy" on the small of her back that I kinda liked but it was nice since it went away in 3 weeks and I can get something else. :)
If I had to decide though, the curve of the inner thigh just below the pantie line. As in I get that little surprise as I am on my way down...
Though I know this girl who has her own name tattoed on her back so that as the drunk guys she picked up from the bar are doing her they can just look down and know what name to shout...

Another vote here for not liking them at all.
No matter where they are, they're too distracting. If I'm appreciating a beautiful woman (such as Lil!) then I don't want my eyes drawn to an ink blotch, I wanna focus on her skin, her frekles, her bumps and spots..... the things that make her a person, not a canvas.
But then, that's just me! :D
If you do get one Lilith, get one where YOU want it.
CasperTG
PS Don't get one where your skin will stretch, or... um, well, sag.... ;)

:p I guess none of you guys would like me! I'm 21, I have one tattoo on my calf, one on my shoulder blade. Of course, I didn't get anything trendy or any words, so I'm not going to regret them when I'm 75 and have something like "Sexy Bitch" tattooed on my back; I agree with ya'll on that one, it's ridiculous.
My advice to you, Lilith (even as a woman myself :D) is if you want them, get them and don't worry about it.

Not a big tattoo fan here...but I suppose I would say "bottoms up" to a woman who wanted a tattoo.

Personally I can't stand tattoos on women or men.
I'm afraid I don't think there's such a thing as a 'tasteful' one or, for that matter an original place to have one.
I realise I'm in the minority for not liking tattoos these days, but I feel that not having any is now more 'original' and 'different' than having one.

not much into them either... but there is something deliciously naughty about one on a woman's lower back....

I'm also one who dislikes tats as a rule, mostly because of their permanance, & the fact that they don't really improve with age...but there's someone to be said about about finding a little temporary tat in a place where you weren't expecting it...

To my eyes finding no tattoos is the sexiest
Seeing one on a woman's low back is probably the sexiest for me. Although, that could have something to do with it meaning I have a view of her backside and she's probably bending over which is why I can see it in the first place. ;)

Very good point, my fine furry friend.
Lilith...you should get a tattoo of your face on your back. :D
And also a tattoo of my finger grip marks on each of your ankles. :hot:
And then there's the famous mushroom stamp, where can we put that? ha ha

Since all of a woman's places are sexy, I guess anywhere I found a tattoo would be the sexiest place.
It's not what you have done, or where you put it that counts. It's all in how you wear it.

I'll have to join Loulabelle in the minority here. I really do not like tatoos at all. As for all the ones that have a like for the ones on the lower back, I once heard to it refered to as a "tramp stamp" by a friend's fiance. I know... that is not very kind of her and more than likely insults a lot of you tatto havin' folks... but I giggled when I heard her name for it (I am sure it was not original to her).

LOL @ MilkToast - Fussy and I call it the 'Porn Star' tattoo since they spend so much of their time, bent over with their arses in the air, it's the only way you can distinguish one porn star from another!

I have one...but I didn't do it for "sexy" reasons. I purposely put it in an area that won't sag or droop in time. It's small, but meaningful (ie: has an actual purpose other than shock art).
I like tats...with taste. I like classy, delicate...almost fragile, curvy, colorful and dainty on a woman's body. Some of the ones from the link Chey put up are prime examples. Some look as though they were drawn in a single, flowing line from a fine tipped pen. Others on that page were too harsh. If the artist who does it has a steady hand, it will make for a delicate finish.
A hip tat (above the butt cheek) is pretty...the lower back (center) is nice too (but can be extremely painful, I bet...because, the less skin the more painful)...something tiny on an ass cheek is sexy...high up the thigh, in the front, just invading the panty line, between the hip and pelvic bone is another sexy place. But wherever/whatever it is...if it's delicate and fine and dainty, and not heavy handed and large, it can be really sexy.
A tat on a woman is not so sexy if she has to dress to the nines for a formal event and has...a large fire breathing dragon chasing a troll over a rainbow, high up on a purplish/blue mountain top with snow at the peak...plastered across her entire upper arm or her lower leg. I've seen stuff like that and it's not as pretty a picture as I think they might have imagined it when they initially got the thing. Maybe they never thought they'd have to be a bridesmaid or they never thought they'd go to a fancy ball, or so on and so on...but it could happen.
Just remember...someday it may have to be bared in a public situation. Ask yourself before getting it...do I want the world to see this here?

well i don't really like long term tats but there IS something sexy about them on a hot lady just above the ass crack and on the front low next to the mound of love very private very sexy so if they disapeared before fading i'd love em did i make any sense ???? :wobble: :wobble: :wobble:
I don't like tattoos and I am married to a man covered in them who has forever wanted me to get one. :D But I am not going through that kind of pain when they make very nice temporary ones.
Stud says the lower back is his favorite spot. Agrees with Aqua on this. He says just one not a bunch of them because that is not attractive. :thumb:

I have one... and think it's a combination of location and what the tattoo is that adds some sort of sex appeal. I've not been told that mine is sexy, but most people are surprised when they find it. In most outward appearances people assume I'm rather conservative (part of why it's not often seen), but if I'm wearing something that shows my ankles undoubtedly someone spots it and remarks on the shock of it. It's not huge, but not tiny either. I picked it not necessarily because it has much meaning to me, but rather because it is something that I won't mind looking at as I grow old.
I can't tell you the countless people that have scratched at it, trying to make it peel to verify it as being temporary. I've had it for five years, and one factor in choosing the location was my single status. I didn't want it to be something that may limit my choices in bridal gowns.

I am not a fan either...but it's your body and you need to make YOU happy. :D

I don't find them to be necessarily a turn-on or a turn-off. The way I see it, if a lady wants one, it's her choice and as long as she's happy with it then it's fine by me.
I've never dated someone with body art though. There was one time, way back when I was in college, that my girlfriend decided to surprise me by getting a temporary one just to see my reaction. Actually, she got two of them and it was really sort of funny. She had bullseyes put on the small of her back and right between her belly button and her bush. I've gotta say, that was sort of a fun turn-on. I put in a lot of target practice that weekend.

i have one on my inner ankle. It's purposefully placed in a place that won't droop or sag (much) and can be covered when I need to look nice or professional.
As far as if they are sexy or not, they can go either way. It really depend on the tat, and the person. Skull and crossbones is never sexy, but something discreet and meaningful and suprising can be really hot.
It's your body, knock yourself out if you want it.
And just for the record, it didn't hurt at all.

I'm not so sure how I feel about the whole tattoo situation at this point. I personally haven't found anything I'd want hanging off of my when I'm 80, but there's also not been a real meaningful event in my life that I felt the need to mark on my body. I work with a lady who has 2 full sleeves, kind of a patchwork deal to mark different life events. She once classifed them as her hand-picked stretch marks. It made sense- kind of a euphemism for the marks life events sometimes leave on us. I also have a friend who has a small tribal dragon in the small of her back. She chose the dragon after a pretty traumatic event because it is 'the protector of the lady'. I like the ones with story and meaning, and as said before, kind of the same way I like jewelry-- the antiques and the ones with real meaning and history are the ones that strike my fancy.
I have a tatoo. I got it on my 45th birthday.....gift from my daughter
Cute little ladybug that won't ever sag but may grow due to swollen ankles when I am old. :) I can see all the old folks in the home swatting my ankle with their fly swatters!
My friend has a little piggy on her big toe and another has a stickman with a lawnmower on her pubic area. Another has 6....all hidden. It's a big decision to make but I don't regret it for a second.

in my opinion something tasteful at the base of the spine just above the turn of your rump.. maybe dipping lightly down over the cheeks.. Adds quite a touch when ye are from behind =)

my tattoo were done when i was a lot younger, before i realized that i was going to try and be a teacher. But they are placed in areas that i can cover and there is excellent makeup out these days for those who may regret. I, however, regret None. All mine have a special meaning to me, all were designed by me. None were picked to be sexually provocative, but it seems to some that have seen them that they are sexy. My lizard hiding in the flowers on my wrist was done by an ex that happened to be my bestfriend's brother (soap opera time, lol) my best friend has matching flowers on her wrist and so does their Mom. the flowers are the same shape but the designs are different. I am still very much apart of that family and we ladies like to show off our flowers. each tat has a story, a memory, that i can never leave behind somewhere. I am not my tattoos, my tattoos are me.
anywhere you chose to have one done is sexy, as long as you are comfortable with it there and the design has a bit of meaning in it. try out a few temporaries first that are similar to the design that you think you want. show it off to friends and see what they think, look in the mirror, take pictures. when you are satisfied with the placement and perhaps the design idea. Take it, or the pictures in to a Clean (think dentist's office and look for awards from tattoo shows on the walls,) tattoo parlor and show your artist this is what you want and where you want and these are the colors you want. With this you should never be dissatisfied.
good luck and happy tattooing!

I just thought of this after reading ^^^ post. When I had mine picked out and was still trying to be certain I was SURE, I had them carbon ink it on me (lasted through about 5 showers) in the spot that I wanted. In the mean time, I tested different crayola markers on it to pick my colors. It was a good way to be sure it was what I wanted and where.

Everything has pretty much been said but i'll anyway
make certain that it means something to you and you alone as for placement well and sexy well that's pretty much a matter of whether or not you want to share the art and you with the general public or keep it private for special folks I have several and only regret one (due to be covered soon) and plan on one last tat of my daughters name in glyphs as either an ankle bracelet or cartouche style on my lower back. good luck and make it a clean tat shop please cuz you don't want to know what a dirty one will do.

As a inked woman, most of my partners (even the few who haven't found tattoos attractive) have told me that its not just a matter of placement, its design and quality. I have my shoulders covered, my right inner forearm, low, mid and upper back/neck and ankle.
I find that the most attractive placement of a tattoo on a woman is the low back in the shape of a "V".

I happen to be a big tattoo and piercing fan I thing the sexiest place for a tattoo is just above the panty line

I'm about to go and have the tattoo on my back covered up. I like the tattoo itself, but I don't like looking in the mirror and being reminded of an ex every single time. Yes, he picked it out. Yes, I know it was a dumb thing to do.
My advice is, of course, never get names (of lovers/spouses) and NEVER let them "pick out" your tattoo because when/if you break up, you will regret it big time.
