Wandering through the country you struggle to find food and shelter until one day you come across an automobile that still has gasoline in the tank and keys sitting on the front seat. You slide the key into the ignition and the motor slowly cranks but the engine starts and after revving the engine a few times it runs fairly smooth. You put the car into gear and begin driving the deserted, desolate highways...

But, do you use the turn signal when changing lanes?

I've found myself using my signal[s] as I come down my driveway and head on to the road. I usually flick it off and mumble something like, "What the hell ya doing?". So, I bet I would use them all the time when I was concentrating on what to do, where to go, etc., and not remembering the situation I was in. Every now and then it'd dawn on me that it's as stupid as signaling out of my own driveway.
