I'm thankful for...

I just wanted to say..I'm thankful for SO many things, but I just wanted to say you guys are great, I saw a few threads going around thanking everyone for being so great, and with the spirit of Turkey Day around the corner, figured this thread would be good(even if I risk making it a repeat)

Right now, I have to say I'm also really thankful that I live in this kind of society with food readily available, clean water and a roof over my head. I just recently, have begun sponsoring the most adorable little 7 year old girl from Nicaragua. Having been there myself, I know the conditions she lives in, and am very happy to try and help her to enjoy life. :)

I'm thankful so much of the time. I have been working hard to learn to have a grateful heart. My list is sooo long.

I'm thankful for a lot too... and I know you all know this and it's been said before, but I am truly thankful for all of you here. Some of you I talk with on a more personal level and some I know only from reading posts, but you all touch my life with your thoughts, feelings, and openess in regards to many issues we face in this world. So often someone will open up with an issue and there is someone else to offer a hug and say, "I've been there, I know what you're feeling." Whether or not I can directly relate to a specific post isn't as important as the sense of family and caring I see on these pages. It would also not stand to forego mentioning the fun that is had at our second home. Be it through games or thread hijacking or just plain being goofy, the joy I have seen woven throughout the threads of Pixies-place is a pleasure I will forever be thankful for.

I love you all... Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm thankful for getting the opportunity to meet and know all of you. I don't want to get all sappy, because that will just lead to blubbering and sobbing...and then I'll be all wet. You don't need to see that.

I am also thankful for the wonderful people that are Pixies....who allow me to explore my sexuality, flirt shamelessly, stand on an occasional soapbox, frequently be a wiseass...and occasionally even say something profound. You've also been very kind when I get into those black moods where I post songs from Depeche Mode and Hendrix. ;)

It's funny....when I am working from home, I will often stay up until 3 and 4 in the morning, to get my work done...but I don't begrudge a single moment I spend during the day on Pixies.

You are all remarkable people, and I am blessed to know you.
