While i'd always been going for Anthony to be the winner.....Casey too became very popular with me

Well Casey won....and good luck to her....such a beautiful person...with an absolutely gorgeous voice

And for my Anthony....another beautiful person with a gorgeous voice....i know he'll have his album too...and i will be lining up to buy it

All in all an excellent show of Aussie talent!

all this popstars/pop idol crap bores me

they're just finshing they're new one over here (simon coweell) called X factor.

quite funny watching all the people who are positive they can sing but they cant! and then when they get told they're rubbish they start going crazy.

I always think I won't watch the one we have here in the states but I always end up glued to the TV. It's is amazing how many talented people never even see the stage.

I have never watched the whole show over here but my kids have and they holler 'Ma come listen to this one'. So I've seen/heard all the good ones. LOL.

I think it's a great concept to give the average person a place to show thier talents. Kinda reminds me of a show that was on when I was a kid, "Amateur Hour". I remember being glued to that TV for that.

It is a discussion forum :rolleyes: But i did not ask if ya like the show...and am not interested in hearing if ya hate it or find it boring

I love the show and thought that maybe others did too (wether that be American Idol or Pop Idol if it came down to that...same dog different leg action)

I was trying to add a bit from an Australian instead of always having American topics

Anyway...i'll just go slink back to the games and shut up now :)

They do the top 100...filter them down to top 30....when it gets to top 12 things get serious *L*

We get Idol for on TV for around 8 months

i'm always stunned by how cruel the judges can be and how brave alll the people who try-out are. takes guts.

Show business is cruel....and if they cant take the critism (no matter how its delivered) they will not survive and as such shouldnt be there
