Kissing...The Lost Art

Anyone else a fan of the art of kissing? I've been amazed by the diversity of kisses I've received. Each is like a signature...unique and special in its own way. Some are sloppy, some are neat....and some are downright sexy. :hot:

So.....Give me the lowdown on your liplocking:
* What do you like?
* What do you hate?
* How did you learn how to kiss so damn good?
* Tell me about a bad or good experience doing the lip tango?

I often find myself sitting across the table from someone, wondering how they kiss. You can tell a lot about someone from their kisses........

Kisses that start off soft...where you can feel the tingle before you lips even meet. When the kiss slowly builds in intensity and I can feel the electric current coursing from his body into mine. The kisses where my exhalation is his inhalation and in reverse, leading to that moment where I can't remember ever being anywhere but in that moment.

So i guess i like kissing too, its a shame i haven't done it too often, last kiss i had was...........about 2 years ago

I've never been left with the impression that I'm no good at it but I don't know. But I do know this...I am emotional and sincere with everything I do, so be it great, mediocre or crappy...it's real.

In college, I had to learn how to kiss tenderly. Until then, it was "pedal to the metal" all the time. I tend to be a bit.....agrressive....at times. <blushes> But you all knew that, didn't you?

I play four wind instruments....and I do believe that my tongue and lips were "trained" from all that exercise. If not, I have no excuse for why I got a call from an ex...who I hadn't spoken to in three years....who tracked me down from classmates.com....just to tell me that -- 12 years later -- he still dreams of my kisses.

I hate kissing someone after they have had a cigarette... :(

Last night on the show Lost they had a very :hot: kissing moment... and I thought to myself, "I haven't been kissed like that in way too long."

I love that moment just before your lips meet his....when he pauses just a bit....and you can feel his breath warm on your lips...when his lips are just so close..barely touching but not quite....and you can hear his breathing.....and everything stops for that briefest of moments....i find myself holding my breath and have to make myself exhale....and his hands feel warmer wherever they are touching....i sometimes tremble from just the sheer anticipation of the kiss that's coming....the anticipation of what will follow that kiss and all of his kisses.


What do i like?---- quick affectionate kisses, passionate deep kisses, rough kisses, closed lip soft kisses, alllll kisses

What do i hate?----can't say there's but one thing i hate....a sloppy kisser....even bad kissers can learn to get better....but it seems once a sloppy kisser, always a sloppy kisser

How did i learn?-----well, hell, i can't remember that far back but i honestly think it was this one guy i was seeing when i was still in high school. i really think he's the one who taught me.

Bad or good experience?----only thing i can think of is how i used to let the ex sway me with his kisses....damn shame his everything else wasn't as good as his kisses. (BTW, that lil bit above is not about him)

kissing. just thinking about it has made my mouth water. i like most kinds of kisses but especially the ones that are a little on the dryer side (not too keen on the sloppy kiss or the mushy kiss) and his tongue is flexed into a hard little point and his lips are firm. mmmm. i like to explore mouths in a way so that my tongue is not competeing with his. to just be left to lick all the places i can reach. it's extra good if he's clean shaven so i don't get any beard burn and extra extra good if i can tilt my head just so and watch our tongues meet or watch his tongue lick my lips *shivers* hooooooo, i'm woozy

bad experience: kissed a guy once and his teeth kept bashing and clicking against mine. it was pretty awful. gave me the heebie-jeebies like fingers on a chalk board. (k not so wozzy, now :D )

Slow gentle tantalising kisses that gain momentum and end up full of pasion......not too wet, preferably with his hands gently holding my face up to his.

I like a kiss that ends sooner than I want it to (always leave the audience wanting more!) and that leaves my knees a little shakey, and my head swimming.

I can't stand kisses that leave my lips and/or face wet or kisses are too forceful when they begin. My very first kiss, at age 14 was one of the most horrible experiences of my life and it wasn't until I was 17 that I learned how good a kiss could be. The first night I kissed someone and felt that spark of passion, I felt like I'd discovered something never discovered before. For the next three months that poor boy was never in the same room with me without my lips being locked onto his. No other kiss has ever quite compared to the electricity of that first enjoyable one, and the guy who shared that with me will always have a special place in my heart, despite the fact that we were ancient history a long time ago........*sigh*....happy memories......

I start out soft and slow somewhere in the general area just below the ear lobe and move slowly to the mouth.MMMMM..I love tasting the various glosses that have been applied.Circling lips with the tip of my tongue and slowly parting them to discover a tongue waiting to mesh......

I like it when he kisses me softly and works his tongue in slowly

I hate it when whoever I'm kissing tries to stick his/her tongue in too far. Don't gag me, save the forceful tongue for my other set of lips :D lol

I don't know that I'm really good, being that I've never kissed myself

A bad experience? My senior year in high school I had peer tutoring and that included going in and out of the ISS (in school suspension) room to run errands. This freshman I didn't know grabbed me and kissed me right on the lips, tongue and all. His friends dared him to do it; needless to say I reported him and he spent a lot more time in trouble :D lol

A good experience? My boyfriend came back late one night from visiting his family out of state and woke me up by kissing me on the lips. So romantic.

I dearly love long slow crescendoing kisses. Start of with small pecks and work into full fledged tongue wrestling matches. I can honestly say if and when I get my next gf I expect to spend quite a bit of time perfecting the art. :love:

Am I the only one that has to be really really attracted to a person to kiss them? I mean, I would have sex with some people before I'd kiss them. I've gagged while being kissed before (by someone I wasn't attracted to), it's nothing to do with hygiene or technique, just the thought.

I never had this problem with my fiance. I think in a lot of ways I see kissing as more intimate than sex...

Hummm, I agree Cherry. For me there has to be something there for me to even want to share a kiss with someone. I love kisses that start off soft slow teasing and then build up. Tiny little kisses at the conner of the lips, tracing his lips with the tip of my tongue before hovering a monment and softly touching lips to lips and then every so slightly deepening with tongues darting in and out, until we are both totally and completely breathless and wanting for more.
What I hate are kisses that are so wet I need a towel afterwards, ewwwww.
