what are some pieces of advice you would give to someone who is a virgin

It's hard to remember that far back...lol! But seriously heychris, are you asking because you are about to embark on the journey to "the other side"? If that is the case...use a contraceptive and use comdoms as well! Never just trust that a condom is enough (they have been known to break) and never, ever have sex without one because "you KNOW the S/O is safe", or "you don't want anything between you and your love". They are unwise practices that some people have come to regret, and you want your first experiences regret free...right?

That leads me to another piece of advice. Make sure in your heart and soul that this is the right time. Don't do it for any social status or because everyone else is or from pressure from the other partner. It's not a bad thing to be a virgin. It is bad however, to compromise your values for a slice of social status or to appease another. You only get one chance to give away your virginity. Consider it a treasure and guard it as such. If you choose to share it, let it be just that...your choice!

Good luck hun!

I hated having to worry EVERY MONTH if I was pregnant.

I wish I had known that.....if you choose your partner correctly, you will have a bond with them for the rest of your life. He is still my best friend, and I love him more today than I did back then.

Ohhhh...well then your question was misphrased or perhaps because you say you "sucked", you still consider yourself virgin-like...? All ya had to do was ask...lol!

Sorry to be the bearer of what you might construe as bad news but, there is no magic formula to get a level better. Sex is like most wonderful things in life. In order to get good...practice, practice, practice. Start slow and keep the lines of communication open...ie: "Is this ok"? "Where would you like me to touch/lick/kiss you"? "Is there anything you'd like me to do that I am not doing"? "Could you please not bite that tender spot so hard"...lol! Ya know, stuff like that. No one thing or combination is right or wrong all the time. Experimentation is the key.

And...get to know yourself and your likes and dislikes. Confidence can have a calming and erotic effect when combined with caring and inquisitivness, especially if your partner is as inexperienced as you. Time is on your side sweety, so don't rush things (unless your S/O yells..."Faster...Faster"...lol!) and keep mental notes of what works and what doesn't. Don't give up because one thing "sucked"...try it another way or just move on to another action.

May the sexy forces be with you! :jedi:

I wish I'd have known not everybody's "cherry pops" the first time. I got called a whore and a liar and a cheater and everything else the first time.

(((((Galatea))))) what an awful thing to have happened. Sounds like he was more concerned with getting a notch on his bedpost than anything else.

Galatea - Knowing then what you know now...a good comment back would've been "Well, it's not like I can move the wall closer the entrance to compensate the discrepancy" :D

lol totally WI. I'm not one to talk bad about a man's penis but that was exactly the problem. Never had a problem after that asshole. And then I got to give the first guy I was really in love with my "virginity" except I had a little experience under my belt so that made it better.
