For most of us in the states, we get our hour we lost in the spring back tonight... don't forget to turn the clocks back one hour. And it's always a good time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors, too.

maddy,

Thank you. I had forgotten about the smoke detector batteries.

I don't think you will get one more hour of sleep MilkToast.. I believe that you loose an hour - unless you go to bed one hour earlier!!

True enough, you get an hour more of something... not sure what really, but we get to live an hour twice :)

What the fuck asswipe thought up this whole so-called dalight savings times shit in the first place?

That is a rhetorical question, I know the history of it, it did work then, and it doesn't work now.

Just some stupid shit to fuck with people's internal clocks.

Not that I have an opinion or anything.

I've grown to appreciate it... I've been saying for a month already that we should be changing our clocks soon. I noticed the shortening of the days quickly as I wasn't wanting to get out of bed in the morning anymore. Although the one thing I really dislike about winter is it is dark when I go to work, and when I come home.

Illinois has a bill in the House of Represenitives to go to Daylights Saving Time year round. Why not just change the worlds time system. :spin: :dizzy:

Going to daylight savings time year round wouldn't make any sense, but whatever. All of my clocks have been changed, except the one in my car, and my smoke detectors where checked last week by the apartment managment.

*Note To Self* Get new batteries.

Already changed the clocks, Maddy...but thanks for the reminder!

There are a few other states that don't follow the system any longer, I believe Indiana (with the exception of a few counties) and Arizona are two of them. I also learned yesterday that China no longer subscribes to this practice either.
