Rudy Guiliani called me to ask if he could count on me for support on Tuesday! Ok...so it was a recording. But it did at least sound like him...well, kinda. :D
That's seven calls today and counting. How many calls are you getting this weekend...and anyone else hear from somebody interesting?

Being registered on the "do not call" list and living in a state that's not seen the election hype has saved the calls for me... But I have received several signed photos of the President and Laura, courtesy of Fortune selling my name to the Republican party.

WildIrish,
Hizzonor Martin O'Malley called (recorded) and encouraged me to do the right thing and vote on Tuesday.
It was no one famous but I did get a call and I had a nice young man come by the house this morning. Which was good because he gave me a list of the way I should vote that explained all the amendments and judges. :D
I will be very glad when its over and I will stop getting all the damn junk mail from them.

I have spoken to Mommy Bush and Al Gore a couple dozen times. I get on average 12-15 calls a day about candidates or issues. We have many state constitutional amendments on the ballot.

I have gotten lots of junk mail, but very grateful for the "do not call" lists. But I will be glad when Tuesday is done. And no more young republicans at my door.

The Do Not call lists do not apply to non profit groups...

The "do not call" list really works well. No calls and I have already voted. Verry nice!

I would have to agree with Booger here. I only use my cell phone and mercifully I don't get any unsolicited calls.
However a local candidate knocked on my door the other morning. I would have been more pleased about it had he not caused me to accidentally let one of my cats out. Damn cat is a pain in the ass to catch when he gets out!!

you should have told him if he wanted your vote to go catch the cat first.

Oh, he tried, he really did. I apprecitated it, but the damned cat always seems to stay just a step or two faster and just out of reach. The only one who can catch him is Cabrylla. I had to wake her up to go out and get the little bastard.

I've got a lot of local guys calling and the what not but nothing on a national level. All of them have been recordings though so I can't tell them off. Oh well.

I haven't gotten any calls at all. But then, I was away for 7 days...so they might have given up. Also, if I do get a call and I don't recognize the number and they leave no message so I can screen it and pick up...I don't answer the call. Or maybe...they don't call the folks who are registered "Unaffiliated"...I'm not a Democrat and I'm not a Republican. I just vote my conscience!
Maybe I'll start answering the unrecognizable numbers!
