What creeps you out?
What is it that when you start to drift off, and think of it, a cold shiver runs down your spine and you have to decide whether to peek or not peek?

Just the scary thought that there is someone in the room who shouldn't be there.

Just this morning after hubby left, I rolled over, facing the sliding door to our bathroom, the light from the window over the tub was shining in and I could have sworn I saw a HUGE man standing in the shadow.... my heart raced but not enough for me to get up and check. :spin:
When I am alone, there's all kinds of "killers" roaming around outside and inside my house!
If I am just starting to drift off and I think I feel a bug in my bed. I have to get up and make sure there isn't. Of course there have been times there was one.

I've gotten freaked out over little noises that I know aren't anything, but just enough to make me crazy. I used to walk around with a flashlight until I remembered how that resembles a burglar to anyone that sees the house from the outside! Now I just flip on lights and stomp around bitching and moaning about how "stupid this whole thing is". ha ha

I've read some pretty good stephen king books that've kept me walking around a little more cautiously in the dark

I'm with TinglingTess....the idea of spiders in the bed creep me out. Of course, last year about this time Mr. Osuche got stung by a wasp in a very inconvenient location.

creaks. those house-settling sounds that my imagination can run away with. i get outa bed and with my heart pouning hard, walk through the house just waiting for the bad ol' boogeyman to pop out and get me. the noises that the baby monitor picks up have been know to set my heart racing, too. there is some kind of interference that sounds downright other-worldly, so i race upstairs to make sure the little bald doctors aren't standing over his crib with a shiny pair of scissors ready to cut that
balloon string. *nervous chuckle* i've also heard voices over the monitor, which in the light of day are just someone on a cell phone nearby but at night they're the ghosts of lost souls making it clear that they are *not* happy where they are. *shivers*

I hear lots of noises. I'm a light sleeper. Most of the time I just stay in bed and listen. If I hear it again I will get up and look around. I think my fear of strange noises is higher when I'm camping. The question is do I want to get up and see what is on the other side of my nylon tent.
