Last week I had sex with my girlfriend for the first time, and we did it 3 times. It was her first time and my fifth, however it was my first time with a virgin. I was under the impression that when a girl loses her virginity she bleeds, "popping her cherry", but there are other ways that happens, like riding a horse and stuff like that. But the thing is, she says she has never popped her cherry, and it didn't happen on Saturday any of the 3 times. I've also heard that if the dick isn't big enough then the cherry doesn't pop either. That kinda has me a little self-conscious, so if anyone has any answers or analysis that'd be greatly appreciated.

I don't think most women are even aware of their hymen breaking, and the chances are, if your girl uses tampons, then one of those would have broken her hymen. She may not have felt it or been aware of it at all, and if there was blood, she wouldn't have noticed because of her period.

It's really no big deal anyway. You had sex, so she's not a virgin. If it felt good for you both, that's all that matters.

I'm getting the impression that you might be thinking she may not have been a virgin because there were no fireworks (pain, blood, tightness to the point of force).

If I recall my first time correctly (kinda hard to remember an eon ago...lol), I had very little pain and no blood. Loulabelle is right, that she may have broken her hymen another way...and a tampon is usually the culprit. If she remained a virgin but used sex toys and inserted them...that could be another way to lose it. Some woman just don't have a sturdy hymen and even if it's broken on the first sexual encounter, there is no pain or blood to speak of.

Sounds to me like you were a gentle and caring lover, and she was relaxed enough to accept you without tightening up and making it uncomfortable for the both of you. You should be proud and grateful for that. Some "first times" are awful for the girl and it's something we never forget. That she wanted you again soon after...and then again still, speaks volumes of her first time and of you! You did good hun...don't feel like anything went wrong!

BTW...penis size wouldn't matter if her hymen was intact and tight. There would be pain and/or blood no matter how big or small. That she had none of that doesn't indicate that you might need a penis enlargment. LOL! Just means things went well and she'll never forget you...her first!

I popped my GF's while fingering before we ever had sex but even then I was surprised because I figured she would have done it herself while masturbating (toys, fingers, etc), or with tampons.
