fetish

I don't want the Webster's definition. Tell me what you personally consider to be a fetish.

I believe fetish to be in the eye of the beholder so to speak. If it's what I do on a regular basis, it doesn't seem so much like a fetish to me, although it clearly may be. Is there a fetish you have or is there ones you find less appealing?

I have a fetish for other people's fetishes!

Sounds odd but it's true....the thing that really turns me on more than anything else, is reading, watching, experiencing, hearing about other people's fetishes.

If someone else is totally turned on by something (usually something very taboo or else non sex related - shoes, stockings, whatever) I wanna know ALL about it, and if it's someone I'm with and I get to help them indulge in that fetish all the better!

I don't consider that I have any other major fetish (I'm not into leather particularly, or anything like that) but you'll often find me perusing the 'fetish' section or else the incest stories section here at Pixies. I think it's usually that people with a strong fetish are so passionate about their kink, and they are letting me in on such an intimate part of who they are.....

All that being said, I shall watch this thread with more than a little interest! ;)

Define fetish........ a fetish is my desire to sexually express myself in a way that heightens my or my lovers senses to the utmost pleasure that I can give them.
Good enough? :)
Or..... do you wanna know what our fetishes are? :D

LOL Okayyy
I have a foot fetish. The tops of my feet and ankles. My middle toes.
On men I love biting their ankles. Kissing and nibbling their arches.
I also have a thing about earlobes. sucking on them or just holding them between my fingers and gently rubbing them.
lips.... especially on women. sucking on that bottom lip drives me wild.

I define fetish as being something one obssesses over that would place them outside the norm...of course, 3 years in this place has kept me redefining what the "norm" is ;) seriously, there are things I thought were a little kinky or odd a few years ago, now just seem like...well, that's just one person's passion...

Do I really have to tell anyone here what my fetish(es) might be? First & foremost, women's breasts...such wide variety, each set having its own personality, & in some cases, each one has its own character...that and an obssession with oral, getting it of course, & my favorite porn is watching a good BJ, but I could spend hours kissing, licking, sucking on a woman all over...excuse me, I may have to go take care of something...

Sorry Scotz but that's where I disagree. Fetish is something you really enjoy but not to the point you HAVE to have it to orgasm but, an obsession is just that. An obsession.

I love passing bits of food (plums, mmangos, cake) while being chewed from mouth to mouth in a kiss. But I suppose if it were a big old turkey drumstick or a T bone steak it would be considered a fetish.

WOW Lou, I think I've discovered a new fetish - I am INCREDIBLY turned on by people who are interested in other peoples turn-ons...I'm sure there's a long phrase for that somewhere! (Double/Triple etc Layer Vicarious Arousal fetish, to coin one?)

I'd say a fetish is any sexual preference, no matter how seemingly mild to others, that a person wishes to conceal in public FAR more than any of his other sexual mores. Seperate to that, I think a fetish can also describe any sexual practice that you feel compelled to think about several times a day.

My fetish - and it fits the first of the above descriptions - is physically strong, large women - they type you'd see in Fitness competitions. Wonder Woman, Xena...any Amazon type. I love the fantasy, but it's only a fantasy, that I can ride them as hard and as long as I like, be as energetic as I want and never need to worry about hurting them.

I dream of a woman who could wrestle a Grizzly, get it into a choke-hold by smothering it's muzzle in her enormous breasts, and render it unconscious as her legs squeeze the air out of it's lungss, despite it's claws snapping in half as it tries hopelessly to fight her off.

I dream of a woman who would KO me in a Boxing match, or tear off my arm in an arm-wrestle. Someone who could go all night on top and still want to stay on top well after lunch.

Jaybee.

I don't think fetishes have to be sexual...I see a fetish as something that fascinates, intrigues, excites, and pleases someone ~ either an act, or a thing.

Mine? Books, words, and knives are all my (non-sexual) fetishes. Sexually? Hmmm....rough sex and naughty talk. ;)

Fetish as meaning an individuals personal desire--

For me the fetish is to "inflict" pleasure...as much as possilbe--such that my lady is in another world or place; hense oral sex is made into an art forum--light touching a devils delight--ideally the atmosphere for the encounter is intoxicating--pleasurable teasing a torture in itself.

To put it as simply as I can, I would have to define fetish as a devotion to what you like.

I have a fetish for hoop earrings. I try to only wear hoops.
I have a fetish for matching shoes and purses. Mine have to match.

In saying that I have to say that I don't oogle others earrings, nor do I go stealing shoes lol. That would be obsessed!

fetish: Trendy thing to have. A thing that you would never tell you mother you have. Something that 400 years ago would have had you burnt at the stake. 20 years ago locked in jail for having.

I think once you "define" a particular fetish, you limit it. For example, if you have a shoe fetish, ok, I might have one, that plants a simple image in your mind. But it can vary from one person to another. I have seen pictures of "shoe fetishism" (is that a word) that include just looking at high heels to shoe jobs to cumming on shoes to wearing shoes during sex, etc. Maybe we should call it a focus, where we may like to focus on a particular activity or look, for any amount of time, and to any specific conclusion.

I particularly like, or somehow seem to notice, when a woman is wearing a pair of shoes that really looks good and compliments her, or when it is a very strange choice(imho). I want to tell someone my view.

Just my 2 cents worth

McJim

Oh yea, no open toe.. :wine:

Mine is so simple. I'd like to see my wife in a 3some. So simple. That's my fetish

I agree with Osuche, a fetish does not necessarily have to be sexual, although it can definitely be that as well.

For me a fetish is an intense interest in something very specific. Whether it is a particular act, situation, person, place, or thing. There is usually a negative connotation as though a fetish is irrational or obsessive. But I just think fetishes make that particular person unique.

My fetish is having sex with a naked man in socks. It stems from two images I had seen when I was much younger that turned me on immensely. The images stuck with me through my sexual development (as far as it has gotten) and really became a part of my sexuality. Now, it's not to say that I only ever get turned on by a naked man in socks, but if I do see this or imagine it it intensifies the experience.

I've had non-sexual fetishes too. I have an intense fetish for books. Just their mere presence in the room makes me feel happier and calmer. Even the aroma of dried ink on paper lingers with me when I open a new book.

That's just my two cents...

I think you've hit the nail on the head here, actually Vurginne......I too, have non sexual fetishes like you and Osuche (for recipe books, evening shoes, nail varnish and night wear......all of which I have LOADS of, from an obsessive need to buy whenever I see a particularly good example, despite the fact that I rarely use any of them!)

Oh and Vurginne, you need to get yourself over to England - the men here are known for having sex in just their socks!!! It's like a national joke over here about British men!

To me, a fetish is anything that creates such an intensity of emotion that it overrides all the "normal" thought processes (and no, i'm not saying fetishes are abnormal).....it's a consuming passion that lets you get lost in the sheer pleasure of that feeling....no matter what the fetish is or even whether it's actually a sexual thing or not....tho i do tend to think that the fetishes will lead to sexual feelings perhaps by the fact that all emotion they create. Sorta like one set of pleasurable feelings just opens the path naturally for other pleasurable feelings.

My fetish: harley's....doesn't even have to have a rider on it....but the look, the sound, the feel of that power between your legs....they oughta come out with a vibe that looks and has the sound!!!!!! geez, makes me wet thinking of trying to describe how i feel about em.....so maybe that alone says it all.
