When I first saw the trailer for it a couple of months ago I thought it looked sort of intriguing but the more they keep pushing it on tv, the less excited I am about it. That being said, I'm supposed to go check it out tomorrow with a friend so it looks like I'll be seeing it this weekend too. I don't think I've ever gone to a Will Smith movie and not been pleasantly surprised though.

LOL I dunno . . . might give it a pass. I'm not an action adventure type of gal.

and I will have to wait...not only until it comes out on video, but for Mrs. WI to go away somewhere! It's the only way I can see testosterone driven movies.

Maybe I should start going to movies with your wife! Is she a Hugh Grant fan, too? :D

Depends on what she's in the mood for.

When she wants a fun night out and cuddly sex...yes.

But if she wants "to hell with married life and family, just take me now you hot stud, and don't stop until I suck the last breath from your lungs"...it's Vigo.

Then again, if she wants someone to watch the kids...I'm her man! :D

That's pretty much my feelings on it IowaMan. The more trailer's and hype I see, the less appealing it looks. I have not read the book's (yet) but I am a fan of Asimov's Foundation series.

I had never heard of it until the reviews I read in my email folder this morning. Not very favorable reviews, but I don't usually listen to them anyway. I have loved movies they hated, and hated movies they've loved. It is science fiction and I love that sort of genre so I will see it, eventually.

Never got around to reading the book (I know, I know). Friends of mine who have and have seent he previews are majorly skeptical. Not sure I want to see it.

I have two boys, ages 15 and 12 so, of course we will go see it. I'm an action/adventure/sci-fi loving chick anyway lol

I'd sit in the movie theatre for the rest of my life and just watch all the new ones...

if I had my druthers...

*sigh*

OK...up on the blocks...one hubby who is cute as a button, mechanically inclined, can work his wood...er...work with wood...but never, ever wants to go to the movies unless I drug him...er...drag him...kicking and screaming!

Well, I stand corrected. I can't say that I've never been to a Will Smith movie that didn't pleasantly surprise me. I'm pretty happy that I went to a matinee so I didn't waste the extra $2.50 or so that it would have cost me to see it at night. It just didn't work for me. I would much rather it have been an I, Lilith movie where Lilith plays a sexual robot and we got to follow her through her sexcapades. Maybe she could have taken an entire city or something and Will Smith could have been the cop trying to be the only man to please her or something. Now, I'm pretty sure that would have been worth much more than five bucks. :D

Aqua, never read Asimov's Robot chronicles?

I Robot was a series of short stories.

Robots even dealt with the Foundation, according to later Foundation stories.

Danel Olivaw rules.
