I am a Green Sea Turtle!
Your great-grand-turtles knew the dinosaurs personally. That means your heritage of buoyant living runs deep. Some folks call you slow, but it's more like velocity-indifference. You've earned the right to take your time. So even in the face of a threatening predator, you remain unhurried. Then again, that could also have something to do with your shortsightedness outside of water.
Comfortable on land but at home on the high seas, you bask on the surface most days, a silent host to flittering friends, only to retreat in search of snacks throughout the night. Getting close to you requires overcompensating for that impenetrable shell and exposing your inner sensitivity. It's the only way to avoid the lifetime of solitude that commonly plagues many other green sea turtles.

Crab
Head down, scuttling home to your cramped space, you're reckoned a recluse. As a crustacean, your formidable presence owes much to one exceptional exoskeleton. But this compact body is all brains, and your sphinx-like outlook proves equally daunting. A highly complicated cerebral nature means only your inner circle understands the underbelly of your notoriously moody temperament.
Highly selective and exceedingly sophisticated, your rare friends sink or swim by your advice on all things cultural, borrowing from your collection of obscure imports and highbrow classics. When not snapping at errant tenants, you can often be found whipping up a culinary masterpiece for one. Eternally the individual, you'd rather live like a hermit than in the presence of the murky-minded.
Damn it!!! Am I the only one who notices that neither turtles nor crabs are fish....and I love Fish!

Clownfish
Everybody's laughing at you. Thank goodness. Because comedy is the family business. Whether it's involuntary clumsiness or calculated clowning, you thrive on lighthearted humor that delivers snickers. But self-consciousness has its way of sabotaging life's comedic triumphs. And those are the moments when you run to your isolated anemone to regroup and rehearse. Until the next gig.
Known for your untouchable taste in crash pads, clown fish possess a dazzling magnetism that disarms even the most dangerous potential menaces. Case in point: you've performed in many a bottom-dweller's watering hole and lived to tell. Maybe it's the tough crowds that instilled you with such resilience. Who cares? Nowadays your colorful ensemble and quick wit sell out every venue.

Jellyfish *LOL*
You fall on the spineless side of sea life. Hey, no one can fault you in the looks department - the symmetry, the sheer grace. And as transparent as you are, you still manage to stun on a daily basis. Floating on the high life's currents, you're one impulsive eater. But who needs dieting when you're always on the go? You don't even have to flex a single tentacle to attract a dinner date.
Fortunately, the ocean is full of fellow jellyfish to stick with. Unfortunately, your species' common ruthlessness makes true friendship fairly impossible due to incessant competition and a tendency toward jealousy. You're not insecure. But every other silly jelly appears to be. It would help if you weren't so inherently intimidating. Or if they could even fathom being so strikingly fluent in fashion.

Oh - looks like I'm the only 'Grouper'.....here.....
Let the good times roll. Light, bright and all right, the grouper is a whirlpool of activity unto itself - never mind when it gets together with that rainbow of frolicking friends. Ever cruising through the open ocean ahead, your go-go gang of synchronized swimmers is seldom seen apart. Your only real problem is a moderate case of codependency. Nothing a little group counseling couldn't help.
You ask deep questions: Why is the ocean blue? What's on the agenda this evening? But they fade from mind almost instantly. Because when you're the life of a nonstop party on fins, you have to mix things up. One day it's coordinating games of hide-and-seek on the float; another it's calling in a clownfish to keep the gang in giggles. Whatever it takes to make sure nobody's bubble bursts.
Perhaps that explains why I'm often so busy I can't get to Pixies as much as I'd like. :D
