View Full Version : Ultimate Box Set - The Soundtrack of PixiesPlace

Okay, we're building the ultimate cd box set, and every Pixie member gets to pick THREE songs that absolutely MUST be on the ultimate collection of music ever assembled. These songs can be from any genre and any time in history. They do NOT have to be sex-related, nor they have to be popular.
Some might consider this to be better categorized as a "smut game" but I think it's really a great way to get to know everyone a little better.

You CAN pick an additional three songs again and again as long as plenty of Pixies have posted since your last turn.

My three picks for the Soundtrack of Pixies Place are:

Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones
The Song That Doesn't Rhyme - Alice Cooper
Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground - Willie Nelson

Interesting mix of music here, but I did not expect any thing less :) Three tunes is VERY hard...so I will just go with what has been in my head as of late:

"Everything Shines" - The Pushstars
"Crimson and Clover" - Boy Meets World
"Boys of Summer" - The Ataris (something about adding distortion to a Don Henley song tickles me so)

If I were to go with all time "classic" songs that mean something to me I would have to say...

"Crazy Train" - Ozzy, live version (Rhandy is godly, can only imagine what he would have become if he lived today)
"Cliffs of Dover" - Eric Johnson (warmest tone I have ever heard from a strat)
"Ten Years Gone" - Led Zeppelin (the guitar arrangements are sick, Page was seriously on something because NO SANE PERSON would consciously arrange this)
