Sounds like a lot of things are not going to be ready in time. They may have to swim in a building with no roof, but a canvas cover! :o

Yes. It sounds like it is a mess. The roof of the Olympic Stadium is behind schedule. The marathon route and public transport improvements have been “altered”.

There has just been an inspection and I'm hearing much spin, as in "We are confident everything will be finished on time", as if that is good news. And "We now have a clear picture of what is feasible and what is at risk".

Shame that the land that started the games would end up having something like that. Poltics again I guess. Perhaps they should set the games up on two islands. One in the north and one in the south. Take turns going to one and then the other every four years. Stop the going to this and that country. Africa still has not help any games.
