View Full Version : Virgins?!?
Ok I admit that as well as some of my friends I am at least 18 and am a Virgin!!!
I think that most of the problem with the virgins out there is we are too scared to do anything because we have no idea what the hell we are gonna do - all we have seen is what is on the porn movies we dont know how to prepare our selfs body wise and as i have said have no idea what the hell we are about to do.
Any advice to help me and my mates both males and females would be greatfully appreciated...

There's on piece of advice that I'm going to give here; it's on the front of a very famous "book" and really should be on the front of all those sex guides.....
"DON'T PANIC!!"
You'll know what to do when it happens, don't rush anything even though you'll be about as excited as you're ever going to be in life!!

Make sure that when you do decide to loose your verginity it's with someone who you trust, and take things as slow as you feel the need, Don't be rushed. You only have one cherry, and your first experience can set the stage on your perception of sex for the rest of your life.

what's wrong with being a virgin?

Not a thing, dreamgurl. I was a virgin until I was 21. And on the day I lost it, I was ready, unafraid, and had a wonderful experience. You'll know when you're ready, merk. And part of being ready will definately be finding someone who you feel comfortable with. Then the fear all goes poof, and it's nothing but fun.
Oh, and me three on the condoms....nothing like worrying about pregnancy or contagious nastiness to ruin the mood.

I'm in my early twenties and have no hope... :(

22, a virgin and completely full of hope.
Ryan2, there's plenty of hope for you - if you're willing to acknowledge it. Confidence, honesty and intelligence are all you need. And they all come from within.
Merk, I know EXACTLY how you feel about being so inexperienced - everyone wants to make there first time really good and nobody wants to look like a bad lay. To be completely honest, I have that same fear. But you can't let the fear win, you can't give in to uncertainty. There's no right way or wrong way when it comes to sex, just three simple rules: Be safe, have fun, be yourself*.
Relax, and don't worry - it'll happen when it's meant to happen. Worst thing you can do is rush it!

i believe by being a virgin just leaves me out there for when i do find a guy that i trust, or whatever you want to call it that , i have more to explore with him, yeah i will feel inexperenced because i am but that should be the fun in it, nothing is pre set of "i like this" . " i don't like that" it's all just waiting to be discovered.......

We were all virgins once. Life is a marathon not a sprint, enjoy each new experience as you come to it and then you'll be ready for the next one.

I don't know anyone who regretted waiting until they 'ready', but I know plenty of people who regret having sex before they were emotionally able to deal with it.

Wait, wait, wait, wait...you will know when it is right...to do it just for the sake of losing your virginity might lead to a guilty conscience which is harder to deal with.

We were virgins until my wife and I married and don't regret it. We've learned together and that's part of the fun. We were probably a bit clumsy at first, but that's okay, we didn't know it. ;)

I agree wait until it feels right. It never felt like the right time until I met my husband. When we had sex for the first time, it was just the RIGHT moment and I knew and all my fears and trepidations went right out the window. He didn't even fuss about wearing condoms or anything. It was fantastic and I still can't get enough of him. :)
