If you could sing like any one person whose voice would you choose, and why?

Lilith,

I should like to be able to sing like Enrico Caruso, because he was so very good.

If I could combine Placido Domingo & Zucchero, it would probably sound crap, but I can't choose between the two.

Barry White - I'm sure his voice caused many ladies to have damp panties

Although I was never a big fan of hers, I always loved her voice. If I could sing like anyone, I would choose Karen Carpenter.

Andrea Bocceli - He has one of the most amazing voices I've heard.

Natalie Cole...in a heart beat. But then again, one of my secret fantasies is to be a singer in a smoky jazz bar :D

Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion have the range I'd like.....

Nancy and Ann Wilson (Heart) are enviable too.....

Cher and Janis Joplin are more my speed.....

OK.....All of the above...in a bod like Gwyn Stefani's <sp?> and that should about do it for me!

Dennis Locorriere of Dr. Hook.

He has a marvelous vocal virtuosity, from comedic to down-right gut wrenching.

an aside to the above...

Her voice when she was with the Airplane and early Starship. She had power and range. Curled my spine to hear her. She's just as intense in person.
