yup thats right i have LOST my husband!!! he went on TDY about a week n ahalf two weeks ago, i have been callin him at the hotle he was in , well a bit ago i called his room and guess what........some norweign answered said i had the wrong room, after talkin to him a bit i found out that he had just checked in and that yes it was the correct room number. LOL u gotta luv the military. so i have no clue if hes n his way hoome , wich wud be odd since the planes are broke and he is the one that fixes them. or if hes changed rooms , the front desk didnt know. or if hes been forward deployed, with w the spec ops if a very certian possiblity. so the point of this thread is do yall kow if there are any hot spots in the world right now that wud involve the US ?? and no im not worried. i know if something was WRONG id have been called so im good there , just curious LOL! i know i know curiosity killed the cat LOL . now pleasedont do any drastic searching lol like i said im not worried just wondered if yall had heard anything. ive flipped on the news and havnt seen nething but ive not run a web search cuz im notworried lol. when i get worried ill do it heheheheh :d THANKS YALL :D

nikki1979,
There are, alas, many. I hope he is not involved. When he checks back in, smack him in the head for keeping you worried like this!

Oh nikki! I'm right there with you on the grrrrrrrrr thing about men not thinking to call ASAP! I don't give a flying fuck just how hectic things are! One really, really, really quick call to say.....I'm ok.....is all I ask! OK....so your guy is military.......but he has the time to pee....he has the time to pack.....
Oh nevermind.....just know I know from whence your GRRRRRRRRR came! Hubby travels out of state occasionally.....and one time he didn't call me for over 14 hours. Now....my husband does some of his best sleeping while he is driving....and he was alone (didn't have me to blab at him and keep him awake)......and I was shitting golden bricks by the time he finally called!
So happy yours finally called you hun!

I think military SO's are some of the bravest, toughest people around. Those of us not involved in the military life really have no idea what those of you waiting at home have to go though.
To all our military SO's.... God bless you!!
And nikki.... *hugs*, so glad he's ok!!

Lixy, I guess it's a universal 'man thing', cause mine puts off calling too. His logic: 'I'm ok, if something was wrong I'd have called you.' grrrrrrrr.... does that make any sense. If somethings wrong HOW would that call be made? sheezzzzz......
