Watch out for cab drivers and don't call anyone a yank and remember they tip over there. You will be fine.

Guess I'm gonna have to clean house a little, he's really coming! :)
Sounds like your flight is arriving in Boston early enough so we can go to the "Cheers" bar for supper (your tea), if your not too tired from the flight. :D

Yep its all go now, Cheers sounds good Teddy, it only a 7 hour flight, easier than the 21 hour flight from Aus to London.
Will be emailing you OzKristin about a linkup with you and you S/O on route from RI to Pa.
I have an around the world fare and it is only $A2500 with some internal flights included.covers 26,000 miles of air travel

I have used that fare a couple of times. Make sure you have a lot of time for airports in the States. Being from os your going to get extra searches.

Yes.....tipping is NOT a town in China! LOL! As to the "yank".....we'll accept it from aliens.....but if a southerner calls a northerner a yankee......well.......that's another kettle of fish!
Cab drivers? I dunno.....I kinda like driving at mach 2! LMFAO! Oh...oops! That's New York cabbies! Ours (in Pa. Dutch country) drive on the side of the road and their engines go "clip, clop, clip, clop"!

Grumble---My old service roommate was from Boston(Brookline/
Roxbury)so I spent alot of time there.Be prepared,if you take a
cab, while there. You will get the shit, scared out of you.If the traffic
signals, say one thing, the cab drivers, will do just the opposite!
Example:A red light,means close your eyes,& drive faster.Good
Luck! Irish
P.S.Don't go to an Irish bar,in Southie,on St. Patricks Day!

We had over an hour and a half in queue through Customs
Quarantine in Los Angeles, half our 3 hr transit before our
Chicago flight.
We were randomly selected for check by the new Terrorism Police,
which meant that the next seven times we checked onto an
aircraft, we got the 105% check, while others in our group sauntered
onto the plane with just a walk through the "gate".
Most of the security people couldn't understand that grown up
people can come halfway around the world to watch some air
shows.
I didn't mention that the real reason was to meet Lilith.
Lost touch with J4U, or would have grabbed a beer with her in
Oshkosh.
Above all, enjoy the "now" over there, and remember that despite
the differences, this is the home of some good friends of ours.
