I've just completed 'Normal' mode and am now in 'Nightmare'

Anyone made it through 'Hell'? Is there a secret bit that opens if you complete all three modes?

I know about the 'Secret Cow Level' so that one doesnt count *L*

My character is currently a Barbarian...36th level (Expansion character)

What character/s are you running?

yes I dabble with diablo 2 havnt tried the expansion pack yet but latest character is a 13 th level Paladin havnt gone looking for the hints or cheats yet online but overall a decent game that keeps me coming back

Wow... nowhere near as far as you, Sharniqua. I'm only on Act 2 normal mode with my most advanced character... and he isn't very advanced at that...

My favourite is the Druid (I love wolves, and I like that he can metomorphis into creatures) and he's at level 15 I think (been a while since I've played). I also like Necromancer and I'm probably level 10 with him...

Anyone play it online? I'm not suggesting anyone play with me, I suck at the game too much... lol, but I have played with friends that are so nice they ignore how bad I play. That's what friends are for. :)

But i enjoy the brutal force of the Barbarian *LOL* who is now at Level 41 and nearly through act 1 of 'Nightmare'....just off to try and kick Andariel's butt...i hope *LOL*

I did get Diablo II w/exspansion pack, started playing and now at level 16, w/Barbarian, my chest is maxed out.

I would like to know if I convert my player to the exspansion pack, will I still be able to continue where I am at, but with a larger treas. chest and other benefits from the exspansion pak, or will I lose where I am at in the game?

I have played Diablo I, but have yet to play II. I lost a lot of sleep playing the first one... "I'm just gonna go down and see what the next level looks like, and then I AM going to shut it off..." 2 hours later it's 2am and I am promising myself I will go to bed as soon as I find out what magical properties the helmet I just found has. An hour after that I am wondering how I am gonna function at work the next day. But it was fun! :D

You will not lose anything by converting to Expansion....you just gain Act 5 and some other neat stuff

Can i also advise all to get the latest patch for the Expansion or Regular.....you get some really cool extras with that too :D:D

Diablo 1 was too easy....i finished it in 2 days....and wrote and told them they should've made it harder *LOL*

Their answer was....it was made for playability rather than for the games length :D

Sharni~ Check out that link there. You can make each class into different builds. Such as an axe barb, sword barb, fire sorc, cold sorc, yadada...But also you cant take single player chars into closed realm battlenet. You can into open battlenet.

Just have to kill Diablo, Been just running around in all the levels trying to get points and experiance up, looking for gems. Trying to get perfects to put into anouther weapon. Level 3?, geting hard to find gems. Bank will only hold 200,000, had over 200,000 on my Barbarian. Takes alone time to get any points and gems to upgrade in the cube.

Any suggestion would be good. Thanks!

Do you have the latest patch For your game hun?...

I get quite a lot more gems and runes dropped since i installed it....you can upgrade your runes in the cube too (though you may already know that)

I installed the patch and have upgraded some of the runes also. I just noticed that my bank just jumped from $200,000 to $800,000, totaly cool. Thank god, about time. Not sure why such a jump but I am glad.I keep going back to the areas that I know where there are gems, after exit and restart, but there getting really hard to find.

You must not get the really good stuff till you defeate Diablo. Like armour, shields, ect.

Hack & Lash platform games are fun, and real good to vent some frustration, BUT!

Give me a game where you need to be thinking all the time,

Warm, Cold
Food, catching prepareing and cooking, with out this your charater will not suvive
Mana And Spell casting in real time, eg: If you do not know the spell, can not perform the guestures accociated with spell casting, then you can not cast

am haveing fun with ARX FATALIS at the moment

Difficult to find the runes that are required for the spell that is needed

and criptic clues that need deciphered, before you can continue with quest

I haven't played for a while. But I've got a Paladin and a Necromancer, both about lvl 70. My biggest problem is that once you get to the hell level it just takes too long to advance, and I hardly ever find anything worth having.
That being said, there are some days when hack and slash is a good thing.

Just curious, when you come back to a game after a long break do you have trouble remembering the interface?

I quit playing Elderscrolls with only a few quests to go and tried to go back after a year and couldn't remember how to do anything and the book had been lost or ruined.

Maybe I just play too many games the UIs start to run together after a while. If I were to go back to playing EQ after a 3.5 year break I don't think I could figure out the Interface. I remember spending hours playing with my chat window trying to get them to look and work properly. But hell they might have made things a hell of a lot simpler these days.

The latest patch is 1.11b, basically the same as 1.10 with a few bug fixes, some good bugs some bad bugs, and a few new class specific runewords for armour. I never player 1.10, I went straight from 1.09 to 1.11.
