as my years advance I find myself lturning more and more to Viagra or one of the other drugs to help get and maintain an erection. I have tryed viagra a few times but I have gotten much better results from one of the direct injections. I have found it gets hard faster and stays hard for a long time. Woundering about others who have tryed these products. what have been your experiances and ladies how about you what do you think of your man using some help ?

There is nothing like a natural wank. No viagra, no lube, no nothing. Just me and my wrist.

I have known men who have chosen injections. Women can be satisfied in so many, many ways. This makes the choice on how to achieve and maintain an erection the man's choice. It is your penis and your sexuality. You should do what makes you happiest.

This is not always an option. As some men age, or for other medical reasons, they need help and if they choose to do so with medical assistance they should be commended for taking control of their own sexuality.

I'm a young person (don't ask me how old ;)). I feel the younger generation don't need lube or anything. That's plainly my humble opinion for what it's worth.

Before Viagra and recent drugs of that nature, injections were the common tool used to achieve a sustained erection.

Jenna it goes exactly where you think.
but turst me it doesn't hurt

liith your right there still are several "aids" out there for when mother nature lets us down. My lady really only likes it one way so if the injection can get me hard for about an hr and to cum twice she loves it

Saggybear, Viagra is a wonderful product and I certainly don't have a problem with it. In fact what usually is a one time orgasm for me ends up 3 0r 4 times with the viagra when he uses it!!!!! Nope no problem here! I love it!;) :D

the thing that keeps me going back to the injections is they work in about 10 min . You don't have to plan ahead like and they work every time not like my experiance with viagra

Don't forget the sugar bowl too! :D

As for aging and taking matters into your own hands (pardon the pun)....I agree with Lilith in that it's a personal preference for the erection part...and if injections are ok with you...they'd be ok with me too! I've heard many good and a few bad things about Viagra.....and I've recently seen a new product advertised (forgot the pharmaceutical name) that has combatted some of the problems some men have had with Viagra and may be worth a try!

And...just a post script here.......for those who might be young now...........YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER......SO WALK SOFTLY AND HANDLE THAT BIG STICK WITH CARE AND DON'T JUDGE TILL YOU'VE WALKED A MILE IN THE SHOES OF THOSE YOU DISMISS! ;)

Saggy,

I generally agree with the ladies - and may the Powers educate the younger generation gently <eg>

Sometimes it's nice if it lasts for an hour....but I bet I could help you out there...and as I have said here before...there are soooooooo many ways to pleasure a woman (and I bet you know quite a few of them :slurp: )

A friend of mine had good luck w/Muse also. I think that is the name of it--a tiny pill inserted into the urethra using a thin type of straw. He also used the injections w/success, too. He found both to be good alternatives to Viagra since he can't take Viagra (due to a history of cardiac disease).

Saggybear,
I see nothing at all wrong with using whatever means you choose to achieve or enhance an erection. If you find a method that works for you, then by all means go for it! You're wife is a lucky woman that you still care enough about having a sex life that you will take whatever measures are necessary to maintain it. I know from personal experience that not all men will try anything other than Viagra, and that when it doesn't work they give up. And sadly, not all men care enough to find other ways to pleasure their woman if they can no longer achieve an erection.
Personally, I'd be happy with whatever way my husband would choose, but because Viagra didn't work for him he has completely given up. Apparently a sex life isn't important to him and he thinks it shouldn't be important to me either.

Saggy,

Does it make you happy? Does it make her happy? I say go for it! I hope she appreciates how far you are willing to go...

I have to admit she loved it I mean we still have sex as much as possible but when I am not "upto" it then I just pop the strapon to pleasure her or just snuggle into my fave spot between her legs and lick my way to her pleasure but like sugarsprinkles says as long as you try and care about the happiness and needs of your lady then an erection isnt the be all and end all and beleive me I speak from experience that is soooo true

sprinkles you have to try and persuade your husband that that isnt the only way to make you happy you are a sexy lady and need to be pleasured who knows maybe it will get him hot to pleasure you I know I get hot making my girl excited and trying new things all the time :):slurp:

lonedude,
I've tried to persuade him. but he never was one that liked to be on the giving end of oral. He seems to have lost his sex drive completely and refuses to acknowledge that I still have one. I had no choice but to look elsewhere.

saggybear
01-31-2004, 10:22 AM
sugar it is a shame that you have to go elsewhere to satisfy needs and desires .
But we all have needs to full. I enjoy giving oral but my wife doesn't like getting or giving sooo I end up same as you almost for the same reasons

I wish I didn't have to do it. I'm not proud of it. Fortunately I found a very caring man here at Pixies who does his best to satisfy my needs and desires. I only wish we could get together more often than we can.

SaggyBear;
I went through the same thing a couple of years ago. Actually, that's when I found pixies which gave me the inspiration i needed to at least enjoy some self gratification. eventually i worked up the nerve to ask the doctor about it and he gave me a sample pack of viagra. The wife wanted me to send him flowers as a thank-you and our sex lives have vastly improved since that day. I cut the 50mg pills in half and they still work fairly well, but lately have found i need a full pill. The only side effect i have had is stomach acit, but a mild antacid takes care of that.
I have wondered about the 2 new alternative pills that are now available; one is supposed to last longer and the other is supposed to be faster acting.
In any case these pills do not affect your sex drive or desire for sex, but do promise the ability to perform when arroused. I still use pixies to keep up my interest... lmao :)
Hope this helps

Is there or is there any hope of them developing a pill to restore or increase the man's desire for sex or libido??? None of the other pills or injections do much good if there isn't that initial desire. And then we need a pill to get him to want to seek help.
:(

I really applaud all of you who are willing to take that step and talk to your doctors. I'm certain your wives or S/O's are very grateful. I know I would be.

i'm a very grateful wife, and have sent blessings to whomever it was that invented viagra, my husband has been taking it for several years, gets the 100mg and cuts it in half, same price for the same amount of pills here whether they're 50mg or 100mg.

i hadn't realized how much i'd missed the hardness until he got it back with that

they are costly and i truly appreciate that he loves me and wants me enough to buy them

Hello, I tell ya one thing just the feeling of having erection that is rock hard like they used to be we were younger. I have never had a problem but I first tried some stuff called Stamina RX and hey let me tell ya it was great I understand now they are putting a stop to it in the US. To me it was just like Viagra only much less cost. Ya know it really sux when something works and the do away with it.

Barry, I know you said you had great success with Stamna RX, but when I did a search on it, I found this. Probably good info for anyone considering the product's use ...

FDA Public Health Advisory:
FDA Warns Consumers Against Taking the Following Dietary Supplements-SIGRA, STAMINA Rx and STAMINA Rx for Women, Y-Y, Spontane ES and Uroprin

Today (June 30, 2003), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is warning consumers not to purchase or consume the following products: SIGRA, STAMINA Rx and STAMINA Rx for Women, Y-Y, Spontane ES and Uroprin, manufactured by NVE, Inc., in Newton, N.J. and distributed by Hi-Tech in Norcross, Ga. These products, which are being marketed as dietary supplements, actually contain a prescription drug ingredient that poses possible health risks. The products are being sold over-the-counter and are claiming to increase stamina, confidence and performance.

FDA has determined that the products actually contain the prescription-strength drug ingredient, tadalafil. Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis, an Eli Lilly product approved in Europe to treat male erectile dysfunction. An interaction between certain prescription drugs containing nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) and tadalafil may cause a drastic lowering of blood pressure. There is real danger that this product may be taken by patients taking nitrates since erectile dysfunction is often a common problem in people with diabetes, hypertension (high blood pressure), hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol), ischemic heart disease and in people who smoke.

FDA's Office of Criminal Investigations, with assistance from FDA’s New Jersey and Atlanta Districts, executed concurrent federal search warrants in Georgia and New Jersey after finding these dietary supplements.

Consumers who have used these products and have medical concerns should consult with their health care providers.

All consumers should be aware of the risks associated with these products.

Well I am the kind of person that belives the should just label it as such and if these people taking heart pills take it and die so what. They were really good for me and at a price I can afford. Anyway if they are so dumb to go on and take them with heart pills. Maybe it is best they were removed from the gean pool however ya spell it. hehehe that is all

Lilith
03-08-2004, 07:15 AM
The problem is that men who have heart disease/ diabetes etc.. are the precise men who often suffer erectile dysfunction. So it would seem reasonable to take the product. Then their heart begins to act up and they need to take a nitrate pill and when they do their pressure bottoms out. Most medications for erectile dysfunction pander to the heart diseased/diabetic population. TY dicksbro for the heads up!
