I was just wondering if anyone here is as big a Stephen King fan as me & had begun reading the latest of the Dark Tower series, Wolves of the Calla. If so, whatcha think so far? I like to discuss books as I'm reading them but I can't seem to find anyone else who is reading this one or has read it ... People still read actual books don't they? lol

Hehe, oh yay!!! .... I was so broke I had to wait for my aunt to finish it before I could borrow the book from her. I kinda know how the children's lit thing goes, i was a reading tutor for 1st graders for a few years

dancingrugger---Just to help out your finances.Our library(maybe
all),if they don't have the book, that you want, will get it from another library! They "borrow" it & then return it.I recently wanted
to read a certain book & didn't have the money to buy it.My oldest
daughter, said, why don't you try the library?I grew up with a library, next door,& never thought of it.I have done this, twice recently. You just give them the name of the author or title(preferably both). They check a list & sometimes you have to wait.
You need a current library card, but that costs less then a bunch of
books! Irish

Hey if you're a geek skipthisone, then where's the sign up list?

Haha, library, who woulda thunk it? I don't like to actually check books out of the library b/c i'm bad w/due dates. I end up waiting sooo long to return them that i end up paying for the book w/all the late fees anyway, i dunno i think its genetic i can't return anything on time. I normally stick to librarys for research for school now, i've learned my lesson.

Haha, i actually am pretty sure i'm already on the list ... After all I did have to go re-read the 1st four in the series (multiple times) as soon as i heard the release date of the 5th one but the pointing thing is good to know, I'll keep that in mind.

I haven't actually read the 'Dark Tower' series (OK, sue me) but I have a fair % of my bookshelf dedicated to King books.

Don't really read much of him now but I bought everything by him when I was aged between 17-23, couldn't get enough.

I must get down to some of his stuff again, I just picked up an old Dean Koontz book - he's another I haven't read in ages!
