I had 4 days off and I haven't been able to get here as much as I thought I would..........and so now that I'm here, I'm all giddy!

OMG Steph! I had such plans! Perv Thursday morning after the bird was in the oven......with my coffee..........(hubby decided to take the carport roof off.......it's a giant sheet of metal and some wood rotted underneath....I helped with that in between making Thanksgiving dinner for us and a couple of friends........friends stayed till I finally fell asleep in a clump on the floor......matter of fact.....I think they stayed till 5am?).

OK.....OK....I'll just perv Friday instead....cause I was gonna go shopping but I chickened out after watching the news about the hourds of people in fist fights over $29 DVD players...........(hubby woke me from a dead sleep that morning....ranting and raving about the barn flooding...cause there was a driving rain and now he had the old roof off......and he knew it was gonna rain but he said it wouldn't matter all that much cause the old roof leaked anyway.......but NOT at the seam that let into his woodshop...and now all his tools and machines were getting wet......so I had to help him put a tarp up under the existing roof over the barn/woodshop and nail it down and get ready for the wind that would come the next day......and then help move and dry off/out tools and machines and.......arrgggggggggggg......and NO shopping even if I wanted to go).

OK........OK..........I'll perv Saturday then!...........(and here come the winds.......but we still needed wood to replace the rotted stuff and so off to Home Depot we went......came back.......measured and sawed and ripped up some more stuff just to make sure........and screwed it down in winds that would put Dorothy's tornado to shame.........and I got wind burnt and.......did you know the wind takes the wind right out of your sails?........and I was sooooooooooo f'in tired I could have slept on a bed of nails........in the rain.......with penguins bouncing on and off my chest........naked......on the shady side of an iceberg! Fuckin ARRGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!).

So..........OK........OK..........I'll perv all day Sunday right?........(NOPPPPE! Hubby talked to his dad last night and dad said he'd come over if it wasn't too windy today and he'd bring mom and make a day of it.......he'd help hubby do the roof [12 3'x14' sheets of metal roofing]......and I hung out with mom-in-law and dad and hubby roofed..........and roofed......and roofed!).

So..........now it's nearly time for bed..................Waaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!

How was your weekend? LOL! Oh.....and where's my kiss?
