I did not think I was at all ready for Christmas to be on it's way but a local radio station switched to 24/7 Christmas music yesterday and miraculously I'm ready :p

What is your favorite holiday song? If you don't celebrate Christmas is there other holiday or celebratory music you like?

1 month til Christmas Eve :D

My favorite serious one ... Andy Williams singing "O Holy Night" and I'm split on the funny ones .... Chipmunks singing "Christmas, Christmas Time is here" (don't remember the actual title) and of course .... GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY A REINDEER! :)

I am with STO on this one. When I was little, I'd watch A Charlie Brown Christmas every Christmas. So I guess I can't help but to feel a bit sentimental when I hear this song at Christmas!

I'd also like to add, "O Come All Ye Faithful". Especially when its performed by a symphony, I just get goosebumps!

Burl Ives ~ Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer
Bing and Bowie ~ Little Drummer Boy
Band Aid ~ Do They Know It's Christmas (I love Boy George's part in this one.....ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh!)

Love to hear Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Elvis..............etc.!

Oh, and Lil? We've had 24/7 X-mas music for two weeks now on a local station. I had to change it during the day or I was gonna puke already! LMFAO!

Bing and Bowie's "Little Drummer Boy" (You have good taste, Lixy)

Manhatten Steamrollers "Patapan"

I've always thought "O Holy Night" has been one of the prettiest Christmas songs. I really feel something when I personally sing "O Come All Ye Faithful."

I have to have Thanksgiving over with before I can even think about Christmas music. It just seems to early otherwise. As for what I have listened to in the past beyond what's on the radio, Jewel has a beautiful Christmas CD that I highly recommend!

I don't really think i'm ready for christmas until I've been to a carol service, then i know that I'm ready. I don't really have a favourite, but I love to sing them!

I always go home for the holidays, to enjoy with the parents a special time, plus to refresh my childhood memories of a place I grew up and now I love.
