I just found a new favorite wine, and wondered what your favorite wine is?

I am really enjoying YellowTail Chardonay from Australia. It is a very smooth and refreshing white wine. Probably the best Chardonay I have had.

Any other suggestions or favorites?

Jim

Lets see, I'm kind of partial to a screw top bottle of NIGHT TRAIN in a paper bag with a vintage date of last Tuesday. But for the big occasions,I break out the RIPPLE.

If you like sweet stuff, late harvest wines with the "noble rot"

make absolutely delicious dessert wines.

Those labelled 'botrytus" are most so.

A Aussie wine and a Aussie male are the best. Or a case of Aussie wine and a Aussie male. Or a case of Aussie males and a Aussie wine!

mcjim623,

Domaine Manoir du Carra is a Beaujolais I have enjoyed with a variety of entrees.

In Californias...I like Frog's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a very full-bodied red with lots of tannins...so if you don't like BBW (Big Beautiful Wines) this isn't the label for you.

:D

One wine I have enjoyed, as much for the name as the wine itself is Old Fart - comes in both red and white. I had the red, a Merlot I believe. Hubby doesn't like it because of the name.

Pan is another red wine that I have enjoyed.

But for all around goes with anything give me a bottle of Sutter Home Zinfandel.
