I'm officially 5 1/2 weeks short of my due date and I'm going to the hospital at 12 midnite eastern time to start the inducement process. Me and the Hubby are SOOOOOOO nervous!

:D I'm next! I'm next! .... I had better be next! I keep hoping each week that my doctor will be like "oh your baby tripled in size, I guess we should just induce you now!" But no such luck. Allthough he is measuring big, so maybe I still will be just a couple weeks behind you. Otherwise I have another month! I'm so happy for you :D :D

.... jealous but happy!!! ;)

I hope it goes very smooth for you, good luck, and get to feeling better soon. Just remember to get as much sleep as the baby will let you.

I was induced due to REALLY high blood pressure. It had started staying in the range of like 140/100+.

I ended up with a c-section. The inducement drugs(cervadil & the pitocin) weren't doing anything...my body refused to progress. Plus, we found out after delivery, that baby Jaden was stuck on my pelvic bone. His poor head was all bruised from hitting the bone and he had a swollen upper lip. Here's some pics.

what a darling little boy... just the beginning of wonderful things.. they grow so fast... before you know it.. he will be tying his own shoes... telling you "NO!"... and giving you unlimited wet kisses filled with all the love he can muster..

P.S..... a great time to catch up on Pixies is in the middle of the night when he needs feedin :) So no excuses for lack of posting :)

Oh he is sooo handsome. What a big little guy. He seems perfectly healthy for being born early. Congrats. Remember to sleep any chance you get. I know I keep repeating myself but that's because I haven't slept since the last time I was pregnant! :D

Take care of yourself and the little one, I'll be waiting to hear the cute stories as he gets bigger.

Thanks! That pic was taken the night we came home from the hospital...Jaden was 4 days old. I also discovered tonite that I can already get into all my prepregnancy clothes...and they're looser than they were originally! I've lost like SO much weight in just under 2 wks. :)
