Why use phone sex?

Hi guys,

I'm asking on behalf of a female friend, for what reasons would a guy who has a girlfriend use phone sex lines? She's certainly not stingy sex-wise with him and unless he's a talented actor, quality is no problem. She's "caught him" before and he knows and understands that she doesn't consider it acceptable, yet it seems he continues to do it. To clarify, she's not looking for advice on whether to dump him or not, or how to "catch him" if he is doing it, but rather, possible reasons why.

Any help or insight would be much appreciated.

Guys love phone sex . . . an advice column I recently read said that if one partner disapproves of porn, the other should give it up out of respect for the partner. I don't agree. Instead, I'd perhaps suggest the g/f follow the old adage, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." Maybe she could try phone sex with him?

That's the thing, she told him to call her if he wanted to do that the first time she caught him, but he still calls phone sex lines..and to clarify, these aren't people he knows, they're pros.

They might be pros at the other end...but I have watched many a show where it is not who you think it is at the other end!!!!

I figured he was talking to pros. It's unfortunate that he's still doing it even though she's offered the option to do it with her. Any possibility she could listen in while he calls? Maybe then she could see what the turn on is.

May I suggest that your friend might lack the vulgarity that her s/o wants to hear? These phone sex lines can get pretty down and dirty.....as long as they keep you on the line, they don't care what they have to say to keep you there!

And also........he might like the idea of a total stranger "wanting" to do this and that to him..........wanting him desperately.......wanting him so bad that she has to touch herself each time he calls........so excited that he called back and telling him how good he makes her feel (some of the things they say to make your imagination swell.....and to keep you on the line).

Belial? Ask your friend if she knows if her s/o is calling to talk to the same person each time. Just a thought.......but a logical one! If so..........he's an egoist! Sorry....but it's just my opinion. If not (if he talks to someone different each time).....he's searching for something "new" and he might feel like he is in a rut at home.
