Some time ago someone mentioned deep fried dill pickles in a thread. Got the recipe and had my first taste yesterday.
They were GREAT!
You have to like dill pickles, to be sure, but if you do ... these are wonderful. Who would have thought?

It was ME!!!!!!!
They are yummy, eh? So glad you liked! And glad you got the recipe.......as I didn't have it cause I didn't make them!
yewwwwww, now mushrooms are a different story! yum
I did try deep fried pickles......the only problem with them is the breading isn't thick enough to hide the pickle flavor ;)

Hide the pickle flavor? LOL.
BTW ... love the mushrooms, too!
Lixy, come on over ... we'll fry up some. (Actually my son made them for me yesterday as my b'day present. Wasn't that nice?

Deep fried pickles? Can't get those at McD's can you? Sounds interesting...
Only think that sticks in my mind when thinking of pickles...remember that experiment everyone does in primary school? Where you pass a current thru a pickle and it glows??
I wonder if the fried ones do the same, or if the heating process takes the electrolytes out?
DB - one to try...

I'll post the recipe tomorrow. My wife just called me to bed so for technical reasons (;)) I'm unable to complete the posting tonight.
Nighty-night! :D
