How do you react when someone makes "flirty eyes" at you in a public place .... and/or .... In what situations will you flirt? ;)

I agree ... it is good for the soul ... actually, it is just GOOD! ... Lil, you have so much strength and confidence .... I'm too "scared" to do it first .... unless its with someone I've already established that kind of relationship with ..... LOL ... usually if someone makes flirty eyes at me .... I look around and behind me to see who they are really making them at!!! :) if there's no one there, then I probably blush a bit and try to smile big .... maybe do the head tilt thing if I'm feeling really confident. .... bet most people would have never guessed I'm a bit of the shy and retiring type! ;)

Regarding returning flirt..... I guess I am just as clumsy most of the time. I don't really know how to react I usually just open my eyes and look straight to her.... usually that is enough to scare her off or make her stop doing that :(

I think my fave is when I've been behind a guy while driving in my truck for sometime and we stop at a light. I try and catch his glances in his side mirror and I smile and look away...but back again really fast before he can look away. Makes um smile everytime!

I love to flirt. And it's interesting watching the reactions to flirting. Most times, whether she returns the attention or whether she doesn't, the grooming actions begin - fingers through hair, posture straightening, etc. Grocery stores are fun.

I catch someone's eye across the room, and if it's accompanied by that "hiya" grin....I'm off and running. Can't help myself.

I'll usually drop my gaze very quickly, then lift my eyes to them again to let them catch me taking that second look with a little half smile to let them think I like what I've seen. Then I'll pull my attention back to whatever I was doing when the whole thing kicked off...it's only polite. Besides, that starts the chase. I get to spend the rest of the evening playing "glance tag" until whoever it is gets up the courage to come talk to me or dance with me...or whatever the order of the evening is. And there's lots of little things I've caught myself doing during the game that encourage such a decision. The little half smiles get bigger, I might bite my lip or something silly like that. I suddenly realize that I'm angling my body to offer my fellow flirt the best view, the whole leg crossing thing can happen here. Or shifting my balance in their direction after I've looked away. I know, it sounds strange. But I didn't realize I was doing it until I saw someone else do it to me...and it emphasized the magnatism of the whole thing. Ah, the wonders of body language.

I love that wordless phase of flirting...but, lucky me, I haven't yet been disappointed when it ended and the next stage began ;)
