Friday I will be married 16 years ( yes I am *that* old)...

I would like to get/do something special for him. Last year I got him a very nice watch, which he promptly returned.:tear: He said it was too expensive/fancy but did pick out a nice less $$ one.:spin: He is a typical guy but shy, quiet, and does not like to attract attention ( yes we are polar opposites) :o Got any wicked suggestions?

Maybe something like a nice gesture then...I am sort of the same way, I don't mind extravagence, but it is just not my style (although I will spoil my date/girlfriend/ect to no end lol)...how about cooking a nice romantic dinner? Maybe write him a poem how you feel, how he has made you feel for these past 16 years. It isn't extravagent, not flashy...but it is from the heart...just a thought, or you could just buy him a fancy hooker and the two of you could ravage him all night :D

Wine, dine, 69 always works.....

"Time, it flexes like a whore,
Falls wanking to the floor"

Take me back to the Star Dust. Be the portal to mother nature - quiet, remote, warm and natural. And that is just the location.

A light dinner, a few drinks, a night out by the shore or the river, a casual suggestion to the local nightclub, and then utter seduction, preferably with the risk of being caught.

Hmmm, given the watch episode...I think it has to be something he can't possibly return. Rent a cabin in the woods for the weekend? Or a suit at a hotel...or whatever seems appropriate ;-). Weekend breaks can be wonderfully romantic gifts...or so I keep hinting to my other half ;-)

Congratulations and Happy Anniversary Lilith! I agree that something that comes from the heart is far greater than anything store bought! Maybe you could make him something just to show how special he is to you! Whatever you decide to do, have a wonderful day!

introduce him to your dungeon if he isnt familar already but just see if he wants to go out to a nice dinner on the beach and tell him you want to get him a gift so he can anything he wants for his gift but set a price limit so your not stuck into buying a new corvette or SUV but when you tell he for his gift he can have anything maybe a secret side will come out and you two can have a awesome anniversary so happy 16th

Happy Anniversary Lilith and Mr. Lilith! Me and hubby are at 16 too......not married (cept for the last.....almost 3 years now) but together 16 years none the less..........so I can relate to your indecision on a gift. It gets tougher with every year...huh?

Oh damn.........I am always late for everything here! I go with the new "traditional" gifts and my calender says that for 16 years he get's.......(checking calender).......oh shit.......it only goes to 15 and then jumps to 20. WTF are we to do between those years? LMAO!

Whatever you decided Lil, I know Mr. Lilith will love you for it! It truly is the thoughtfulness that counts at this stage in the game! Please keep us informed as to how things went!

WOW...Congrats LILITH!!! LMAO I thought it was a big deal that dzbuster and i have been together two yrs (not married) i've found that what makes him truly, truly happy is a great meal, and a
mindblowing ,tingling, dizzying blowjob lol...:) but since we don't live together he gets that pretty much whenever he's here. But seriously i think if you keep it simple and put your heart into it it's really appreciated ..Again CONGRATS !!!!

This is a day late but what the hell....

Dinner first followed by sixteen boxes. Inside of each box is a sexual thing...lingerie, a toy, cuffs, nice condoms, etc etc etc.

Congrats!!!

Lilith---Happy Anniversary!!!I know that everyone is different,but
krzykrn said something about a poem.A meaningful note might also be good.Even tho,my daughters are in their 30s now, every year,on Valentines Day,I have always given them, each,a card&a
Valentines(heart-shaped)candy filled box,just from me,not from my wife&I.A few years ago,I was working nights(3rd shift)and left
their presents on their house doors.A few days later, there was a thank-you card in my mail.It was from my youngest daughter. She
had,one of those days, when nothing goes right. She arrived home
&found my present.The card said-Thanks.When everything goes
wrong for me,you are always there!
I still have that card in a bedside drawer.Every now&then,I come
across it.Even to a tough exterior person, like me,things like that,
mean alot! Irish

It really doesn't matter who flashy/expensive/big the gift is, what really matters is that the gift is appropriate for him-pick out something that fits for him that he doesn't already have.

That sex slave thing sounds very cool. I'm a pretty retiring submissive guy on the whole, but I enjoy taking turns to be dominant during sex. yummy!

Yes Mr. Lilith is shy and conventional in his every day as well but enjoyed exploring his dominant side..... and smacking my back side:p

So take him to the Redneck Riviera and let him slap it silly. How can you beat that?
