To have a massive hangover from pure joy and bliss? or did someone slip me a ruphee;)?

Last night I partied my ass off! The Eagles rocked for 3 hours! I got my $$ worth and sooooo much more. We had good seats in the cool section ...you know where every one dances and sings and you have that funky communal experience. Even the people in the box seat above us were cool...actually passed their free booze down to the cheap seats very

So I am wondering have you ever felt stoned/ high in a situation like this.....you know that rush, euphoria?

Have you ever had an experience that was heightened because you did it in a large group? Besides sex? ;)

The aftershow parties my drama group had used to rock......we'd do a show, have the official aftershow party until midnight then go onto someone's house where we'd dance, sing, stip off and some of the guys would have play sumo wrestling fights (!) until dawn.......we'd then settle down, drink coffee and chat until someone came around with bacon sandwiches. We'd get a couple of hours sleep where ever we happened to drop and then were up again, dismantling the set at 9.30 am on the Sunday morning.........

I never really used to drink because I couldn't stay the distance if I did, but BOY did I used to wake up with a hangover!

P.S. Lil......I'm glad you had such a great time! :D

*breaks into a sobbing, lurching fit of painful laughter* Oh, fuck me headless... I think that's easily the funniest goddamn thing I've ever heard. Oh, mercy... *wipes tears from his cheeks*

So jealous Lil .... Love the Eagles!!!!! Have a long-term crush on Glenn Frey!!!!! glad you had so much fun! Whenever I've been to a concert I spend days afterward nursing a sore throat ... I know it's gonna happen, but doesn't matter ... I guess that's my version of a hangover! :)

So glad you had fun Lilith!

I had a similar experience at Hershey Stadium when I saw Aerosmith! The moment I saw them coming out of their trailers I got "high" and the "hangover" the next day was wonderful!

BTW.......Are you really a female praying mantis? LOL!

Yes, I love the energy...I seem to feed off of people's vibes, as strange as that sounds. There have been concerts where you are standing, waiting in anticipation...the crowd is cheering, yelling, going wild...then the curtain drops and you hear that first chord, and you instantly know what song they are opening up with...

One example, I was a roadie for Metallica (just for one day hehe) and I was standing on the side of the stage, the crowd was going nuts, waiting for them to go on...the lights were down, and the stage was bathed in cool, blue lights...then I saw the band start to run down the gauntlet around the stage, and the crowd erupted when James hit the stage first...his ESP strapped on and his hand raised high for a moment...then BAM, like a hammer his fist came down, the distortion running like a tidal wave through your body, and the crowd went into a frenzy, their cheers like thunder, rising up like storm...the hairs on my body stood up on end and I joined in their exultation...total, kick ass. Makes me wish I was better at playing, because I know, it is 100 times better to be on stage then down below...anyway, afterwards I was so drained, it was great.
