If you woke up today and had to permanently move to another country, any one other than where you reside now, where would you go and what 3 things from your country would you take with????

hehehe I'd move to "Europe" (she's keeping her exact location secret isn't she lol ;)) and take with me lube, chocolate and a camera !!
I do also think Australia would be a lovely place to go and I'd take my computer, chocolate and a hat (it gets hot there ya know!)

I'd probably move to Canada. My husband has a lot of family there and we've visited often. I don't really know that I'd need to take anything in particular with me other than personal property with sentimental value, as Canada, in many ways isn't that different from the US. I could most likely buy anything I need and am familiar with.
*walks away singing "O Canada", because, being a real hockey fan, she knows the words :p *

I would have to say Japan. Would probably only take me a month or so and would be able to remember from college how to speak the language and I have always had a love of their history and such. I would take my clothes, cause they just don't grow them as tall as me over there.

Either New Zealand or Canada.
There they speak a form of english and have exchange rate
problems with the USA.
I'd take my computer, vegemite and my library.

I almost said Australia, but I'd probably actually go to Canada. Of course my wife and dependent kids, our sentimental possessions, and ... better take my bank account. Hee hee. In case I get hungry.
Picked Canada to stay reasonably close to other family and friends that'd still be here. Without that ... Australia.

Ireland---I have given this some thought recently.I don't want to leave the
USA,but if Hillary runs&gets elected to President in 2008,there is
no way that I would stay here.My real name is Thomas J. Ahern!
There is an Ahern in charge of something there,so I would ,
probably,contact him & make arrangements,to move there.Except
for taking my wife,I would,probably,sell everything else.I don't
know if I would be happy there, because everyone, that I know,
that has been there, has said the same thing-"It's a nice place,to
visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!" Irish
P.S.Does anyone know if there is a pixies "chapter"in Ireland?

I'm more of a Horsey's sauce kinda guy. I'd also take my wife and my laptop.
And I think I'd make my mind up at the airport. Been to Lucerne, Switzerland. Also to Venice. That was nice. Either of them would be good. But I do love a hot and sandy beach. Perhaps Greece. If Ireland was warmer I'd definately head there.

Ireland, probably. Considering that's where my family was from originally. May as well take my wife, my girlfriend and my g/f's boyfriend, no reason to do it alone...

Germany, easily. And take all my stuff with. Wouldn't be that big a deal, I had to literally MOVE back to the US after a year's study abroad in 1993.
