This is to ally peoples fears! As most of you know,I have been riding&racing&mechanicing motorcycles for over 43 yrs.So many people, are riding now, that I thought that we were finally over the
petty prejudices.Granted, motorcycle people don't have the comraderie that they used to& most of the"Bad Boy"image is gone.(I thought!)I heard on the local news, that Belknap county,
has moved, all of its prisoners,to other jails,to make room for the
upcoming motorcycle week at Laconia.I used to go every year.I
stopped going in the '80s,because the police were causing more
trouble,then the motorcyclists.The difference between"wanna-bes",weekend warriors,drug dealers. Irish
P.S.Theres just so many punks now, that it's not fun anymore!

The world is full of shits spoiling it for real people.

It's not just with the bikers.

People see something fun and inclusive and want to "own" it.

It is too bad that there are always a few that will spoil things. Bummer when they do.

Dicksbro&OF---It is that way with just about everything!
Ex:New Hampshire has always been, layed back.My wife is
from Portsmouth,NH.I met her when I was stationed at
Pease AFB in the '60s.On discharge,in 1965,we moved to
Conn. where I am from.I worked for Sikorsky Aircraft for 6yrs.
We then moved back to N.H.There is a group of people, that
one of my sons-in-law,calls "Massholes!"They move here for the
"rustic"atmosphere.Right away, they start trying to pass laws,
concerning hunting, etc. to make things just like where they left.
If it's so great, why didn't they stay there?I moved here,to get away from that beurocracy.(sp?)Now you have people, that think that if you wear a leather jacket&have tattoos, you're a biker!
Bullshit!Sorry,had to vent! Irish
