So in the comfort of old shoes

So if you buy a new pair of shoes and they are sharp and cool and all that, but they have to be broken in....and Sometimes you just want to go back and put on those old ratty tennie's and be comfy.

I only buy comfortable shoes .... but even then sometimes they need breaking in .... it takes me a long time to do it cause I just keep slipping back to the already broken in pair! (or barefoot) :)

The only ones that don't are classic canvas Chuck Taylor Converse All Stars.

New shoes can be nice for a little while....something different from the norm, maybe something that looks better than what you usually wear, or better yet makes you feel special, sexier. Just don't throw the old ones away....you will always regret it if you do!

I far prefer comfort :) and hate the time it takes to break in new shoes. :(

new shoes suck, new dress shoes really suck. the old pair of boots that i wear are like mittens. but it took years to wear in the dress shoes that i wear and alot of years to wear in my boots. they aint pretty, but they fit and are comfortable. new shoes? why? i got 2 pair already.
