Aaaah! It's finally over... :) :) :)

On May 17 after 4.5 years of very hard work, I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and a minor in Health Studies.

I was just so excited and wanted to share my good news with all my fellow Pixies members. It would've been great to have you all here to celebrate with me! I hope now that with the extra time I will have off during my job hunt, I can catch up for all the hours I lost perving due to big projects and studying. :p

Thanks to my friends on here for their words of encouragement and the wonderful picture posters who provided some much needed "relaxation time." :D

So where is (or was) the party, huh (and where was my invitation)? ;) Or did you hit the club and watch all the male strippers already? ;) In which case I wouldn't have wanted an invitation anyway. ;)

Congratulations, BCG. You're further along than I am.

Congrats, BCG. I know from talking to you how hard you have been working towards this goal, and I am glad to see that you have accomplished it and ready to continue on into bigger and better things. Wish my neices graduation was closer I could've made it for yours too. Unfortunately I am still stuck down here in Kansas. Still a little far away. But still sending all my cheers for your day.

Thank you all again for all the kind words and support during my last year of school. Everyone has been so sweet and I just felt like a lot of you have been on this journey with me! I still can't believe that it's over; I am already missing learning in the classroom but certainly do not miss the homework aspect! I feel so guilty that I don't have somewhere to be and am not in class!

I was able to have some family come for the ceremony, and it really meant a lot to have them here. It was a whirlwind weekend, but one I will never forget. Although I didn't get those strippers I wanted at the party ;) , it was great to have my friends and family there.

I will keep you updated on my job hunt...I know it might be slim-pickings for awhile, but I hope I will have yet another thing to cheer about soon. In the meantime, I will enjoy my free time at Pixies!! You guys keep me smiling :)

((((Hugs to you all!))))

BCG---Congratulations!It's worth the effort,in the long run.My wife
never went to college. We were married at 21.A few years ago,she
went to night college,while working a fulltime job.I said"Are you crazy?You're kids are grown & you're not a kid anymore."It payed
off.She had to change jobs(her office closed)and the home office,
was about 40mi. away.It was either commute or change jobs. She
started a new job at good pay, because of that sheepskin, from
going back to school! Irish

I'm sure if you provided transportation, and a location for the "performance" you could still get your choice of pixies strippers to go give you a private show.
