So last night was the lunar eclipse. I always love these for two reasons. 1st let me say, I am a very amature astronomer, but have 2 decent refracting telescopes with which to star gaze...Anyway I had both out last night one looking at the moon while it was shading and the other looking at the milky way that was getting brighter as the eclipse shadowed....Well my wife walks by the window and saw me out on the back deck sitting in a chair sitting there with a beer....and she started LHAO at me....I had been out there for an hour and had never bothered to put any clothes on....she still thinks my naked ways are strange....

Anyway...the moon turned almost blood red at about 10:25 when it was in full shadow and it was worth it...although I had no testicals left as it was about 50 degrees...so decided to go in...:D

I think that anything that can be done naked should be done naked.

I swear one of these days I'm going to completely forget I'm not wearing anything and answer the door or something in my Birthday suit!

Don't let her laugh at your naked ways, Skip! I'm sure it's a beautiful sight to behold........

"Avon calling":D

(can I be an Avon Guy?):p

My kids have come to accept (and patronize:rolleyes:) me ever since the solar eclipse in 73 when I came home from the plant with welding helmets for both of them. Now I get to harass my granddaughters as well and have been doing that for over a week about this. With two scopes and a 35mm cam ready, they were more disappointed than I was when we couldn’t see the top of the trees in the clouds. It’s hard enough to get interest in these spectacular events. I just hope it hasn’t backfired and turned off these young eyes.

there's dirty underwear all over the place! Which explains why naughty lou doesn't wear undies anymore ;):D

LMAO! NOT TRUE!

I've been having to wear them all this week because of the play! Otherwise things could get a bit awkward in our mixed gender green room! :p

Too cloudy here to get the view last night! I love the night sky best in December. All the meteor showers are incredible. I do, however, run around my yard naked, underwear clad...whatever!.....day or night....depending on if the neighbors are up at Penn State or whatever. Pays to live in a rural community!

Lovely mental pic you gave me though, skip. Was your....um.....telescope......fully extended?
