GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) - Two players on Harvard University's rugby team were charged with disorderly conduct Wednesday night after police say they were caught running naked through a public park.
The two men apparently had been drinking at a party held at the home of a team member's parents in the exclusive Mead Point section of town, police said.
Police arrested Stephen Longo, 19, a freshman center on the team and a former captain of the Greenwich High School rugby and football teams, and Robert Boutwell, 19, a freshman from West Newton, Mass.
"We got a call from a citizen that observed a couple of naked guys running through the park," said Capt. Michael DeAngelo.
The two students were arrested after police chased them through Bruce Park, a popular recreation spot that has several baseball fields, police said. They are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 14, police said.
