I have feared about this. My current partner can sometimes have a very stinky pussy. Now sometimes this doesn't bother me, but sometimes it really pisses me off (depending on how bad it is). She would like me to go down on her, and I have said no. I do like giving oral, and its never smelled bad before. How do I say something to her? Or give her a hint that she needs to cleanup a bit.
What do I do about the fishery in her pants?! Please help!

I think there are some girls out there, especially younger ones that do not have the guidence about hygiene. I have loved going down on women since I was 20 and I ran into a bad one once. I seriously just couldnt go down on her it was so bad. But I cannot tell you one good way to say something without getting slapped..

You should tell her....just try to be diplomatic
She may have a yeast infection or some such thing that is causing the offensive smell....a quick trip to the doc maybe in order
All pussies have an aroma...but if it's that bad...it spells infection of some kind to me

I agree with Sharni.... a bad smell is usually indicative of some kind of infection (i.e. yeast infection). There is really no delicate way to say anything about it... you just have to trust your relationship and tell her showing concern for her health.... yeast infections (however slight) not treated can lead to other problems....
I do have one question.... does she wear nylon or silk panties....? and if so, in some cases laundry detergent that doesn't get rinsed out well will cause a reaction with her fluids and can cause a smell...
Suggestion..... buy her some sexy cotton panties.... shouldn't be difficult to find and give that a go... it may help you and her....
Also... a yeast infection is contagious.. a man can get it as well.... :(

I agree that it may be just a matter of hygiene, but if she really has more of a fishy smell, it is more likely to be an STD. There is one in particular that causes more of a fishy odor, but I can't remember what one it is. Maybe Wicked Wanda could tell us since she probably knows due to the type of nursing area she works in. I don't think of yeast infections as causing a fishy odor or much of an odor at all. Plus, often if a woman has a yeast infection, she's too uncomfortable (irritated and/or itchy) to want to have sex. I'm not sure I'd want to be having sex with her, or at least unprotected sex, until you find out for sure that she doesn't have a medical problem that she could pass on to you. And, Cheyanne is right; you could pick up a yeast infection from her (it's called thrush if you get it in your mouth). You may not end up with symptoms in your genital area, but if she gets a yeast infection cleared up, you could then pass it right back to her again.
Usually an odor such as you describe is caused by a type of Vaginitis......get her to go to the doctor and get a prescription and I am sure it will solve the problem.

Thanks for the response so far, I am pretty clueless.
She wears both i beleive. But they are always thongs. She one day said she was concerned about having a yeast infection. This was a while ago tho. What will happen if I get it?
She is on birth control, so there is no protection.
She got upset when I wouldn't go down, so shes made it a big issue to me.
If you catch a yeast infection on your penis you will be itchy and usually you have small red dots on it too........you will need a cream to treat it....but it will just pass back and forth if both of you have it and one doesnt get treatment.

Arg, this has really put me in an awkward position. If I say I want to use protection, she will want to know why. Any more advice?
The only way I smell it is if I finger her before sex, then I can smell my hands. After sex my penis smells like her and its not too great, even after a shower.
Is this a STD? Should I get checked. I am definatly going to have to talk to her about it.

When it comes to your sexual health there's no excuse, it might hurt, and you might not get any for a while, but you have to talk to her about it. Sure ti'll be uncomfortable, just use diplomacy, and (hopefully) she wont get that angry. Maybe put the "because you care about her" spin on it, I mean you do right? From what everyone else is saying it doesn't seem like it'd be all that big of a deal to get it checked out by a doctor. Just my two cents,
Peace

k-dowg is right....
Instead of all of trying to second guess the problem a visit to the doctor for her and you should be the first thing you do... just for peace of mind.
I wouldn't just have you use protection just for you and not worry about her at all... it is worth some discomfort on your part from her reaction to get her to go to the doc and get checked out.

Doesn't SHE realize she smells bad, or at least different than what she normally smells? It's wise for a woman on a regular basis to look at her genital area (anus, too) to see if she notices any changes (color, rashes, sores, bumps?), to put her finger in her pussy and then check the odor or taste to see if there are any changes, and notice if she is having any changes in discharge (more, different consistency, color, odor, burning, itching, etc.).
And like Cheyanne said, of course, you should be concerned about her as well as youself. I wasn't implying that you shouldn't be. However, I also wanted you to realize that it might not be just a matter of poor hygiene, and I didn't want you to also end up having to be treated for something (albeit minor) because you thought that bathing on her part would solve the problem.
What it boils down to is that she does need to get herself checked out to be sure she's OK before you have unprotected sex with her or she has unprotected sex with anybody. And although it would be hard for you to talk to her about it and probably embarrassing for her, I would hope that in the long run she'd be grateful that you are showing concern for her health, too.
