I've been at Pixies for a while now and I was just wondering......

Has there ALWAYS been porn ads at the bottom of all my screens in the forums? I mean, geezzzzzzz! I swear I feel an awakening in just noticing them. And BTW? Some of them really get me throbbing! Please clue me in on just how one can explain my just noticing them if they have always been here........or why they are now just showing up!

Am I alone in this?

Nope.... they haven't always been there. They are new since just the end of the month....

BTW, has anyone clicked on any of them? ( I was seduced by the f**k like gods ad) I did and suddenly I am assaulted by pop-ups everytime I get on Pixies!!! Has anyone else experienced this?

I had to go into my cookies manager folder and eliminate cookies acceptance from these sites! :(

I was waiting before I commented on Jenna’s thread. Wanted to see if the seed “grew”.

I’ve NOT had any problems SO FAR. I even make a point of clicking on them each time I come on if they help keep the lights on here. I found a few of them open a couple windows when clicked, but they close just as quick (and stay closed) for me. I’ve not had any problems when I come online in any way. Matter of fact, I find then so easy to ignore that I Do have to make a point to hit them as soon as I come on before I get involved with the board.

There are two ways to do business and I will share MY thoughts about “capture” popups. (the ones that won’t let you close them, or let you out NOW!) Those piss me off so fucking much, I WILL NOT go back to ANY site or window that they are on. When [Ctrl][Alt][Delete] won’t stop them dead without closing down my puter, I try HARD to find a “contact us” button and tell them “I pray you have everything in your life invested in this site and that you have to live in a box under the bridge and send your mother, wife and daughter out to sell their ass to winos at 25 cents a pop just to eat bread and water.” Just ask them at “Daily Pics”, which WAS a daily stop for me, if you think I’m joking.

I have no problem ridding the bus with advertisement on the side, but it better take me to MY stop.:)

LOL@PF. I agree totally. I don't mind an ad that lets you close it ... although they're sometimes a nuisance ... but those that don't are downright maddening. Do they really think that'll encourage someone to by they products or services? Dumb!

I agree about the ads that won't let you close them! TY PF! *kisses*

And DB? It's the same thing for me with telemarketers. What do they think.....I sit by the phone all day hoping somone will call so I can re-side my house? If I get stuck in an ad....do they think I'll just give in and give them my cc#? If they got me there in an underhanded way in the first place, what makes them think I'd trust them with my cc#? There isn't too much I haven't backed up that I can't shut the puter down at the source!

But, I have visited a few of these ads here....and they aren't so bad. Nothing Norton can't help me with anyway!

I had a telemarketer call one time and I told him I was busy but would set the phone down and he could talk all he wanted to. Then, without saying a word, I listened. After about two minutes, he said in a very plaintive voice ... "Is anyone there?" When he hung up, I LMAO!

Another guy I offered to let him first talk to my wife so she could get his AVON order first. He hung up. Don't understand that. :D :D

Lilith - didn't see anyone fucking like gods.. lol - did get a free tour but decided it really wasn't worth my time...

I much prefer our Pixie men... more natural and real.... and they are interactive - all you have to do is ask. :p
