Ienki's post in Skip's Habit thread got me wondering.....
How many of you sexy men think you might be pussy whipped? If you are not now, does the potential exist?
Ladies have you been at all successful in using this as a technique to condition/persuade your man to comply with requests?
Some think of that term in a negative light, do you?

I feel that the term "Pussy Whipped" is a term used by men in order for them to appear "Macho" in front of other men.. lol
If I need Sex 24/7 to do something for me or to help all I have to do is ask... he is willing because he loves me... I do the same for him..... we don't have to "dangle" a reward in front of each other in order to get the other to do something...
Our reward is mutual because when we cooperate like that we both are rewarded... ;)

I'm not really sure if I know what the term "pussy whipped" means.
Does it mean that a woman will hold back sex in order to get something?
I ask because, as Cheyanne pointed out, I only ever hear this term when men are trying to chide a guy into feeling inferior because he does what his S/O ask/says to do [immediately] instead of acting immature and childish and having her have to ask several times. She (any woman in question) didn't openly dangle sex in front of him as a reward for him to comply immediately......she just asked and he did it. Unless, (and this is the part I am missing) it was disgussed or proven to be the best way to handle said woman in order for him to get any lovin at all.
*Wonders if that only made sense in my head*
So, if using sex to get what I want done is the question......NO is the answer. I don't consider sex to be a reward for him.....I see it as a good time for both of us, so why would I want to withhold it? I'd never get any if I had to hold it back to get things done! LMFAO!

I think the perception of other men is that women use sex to get their partner to do what they want, but when I think of the term pussy whipped I just think of a man who 'does as he's told' by a woman.
I have certainly had SOs in the past whom I feel have just done what I wanted to keep me quiet rather than because they wanted to please me. I hate that in a person. I like a guy who knows his own mind, but is willing to compromise, because that's how I see myself.
I suppose the ideal would be a guy who does what I want because he wants to, but then how would I ever be sure that he wasn't just doing it to shut me up?! Hell, most of the time, I need shutting up! Lol

It's true though. I use it against WWM69 ^.^ When he's bad I tell him I'm cutting him off. He doesn't mind...at least I don't think so? Uh oh...better ask him when he gets home. I'm not ashamed of it though because I see it as a game. and it never happens anyway :P I love sex too much to let it happen Lmao.
Lou hit it right on the head... Pussy whipped is more about a man doing things to please his woman, regardless of if it's for sex. And it isn't always about the woman controlling him. It can be... but if a guy starts dating a girl and tells his buddies, "Can't go fishing today, I'm having lunch with my girl." they are gonna call him pussy whipped. Heck, lunch might have been his idea. Guys generally use the term for harrassing a friend that's spending time with a woman instead of them. Sometime's it is because the woman is browbeating the guy into doing what she wants or because if he doesn't she'll withhold sex. That's my take on it anyway. And when I'm accused of being pussy whipped... I usually say, "Yup, and I'm getting laid tonight... what are you doing?" :p

I don't consider "pussy whipped" to be a favorable term at all. I don't consider it a term used for a man who treats his woman well and gives her the things she desires...
I do however consider a man who lacks the backbone to stand up to a negatively controlling bitch of a wife... continually bends to her whims (to the detrement of his own happiness and well being)... doesn't stand up for what he believes in (within the relationship)... to be Pussy whipped.
I am a VERY strong woman personality wise, and it takes a very strong man to be able to handle me. I don't want a man to bend to my every whim (if it is something that he is opposed to) and sacrifice his personal happiness. I don't like "pussy whipped" men, especially if I am doing the whippen... sorry.. but I need a man to stand up to me and tell me I am wrong... or call me a bitch when I am acting like one (and shouldn't be)...
just my thoughts..

Sometimes I will abstain until a "project gets done" before I will give in. I know once I do though he will become instant asshole. I think these type of men should wear a shirt that says, "Instant Asshole Just Add Pussy". LOL Sometimes I crack myself up. hehe

I've been nagging Tyler lately to do more housework. Last night, he promised to do more. I woke up this morning and he had left an empty cereal box on the floor by the couch and a full carton of milk on the coffee table!!!!! When I e-mailed him asking him WTF was up, he replied, "I guess this sets the Tyler movement back three weeks!"
He's lucky he's so damned funny or I'd kill him! :)
I don't withhold sex but I feel like a nag sometimes . . . when he finally cleans up, does that mean he's pussywhipped?

I totally agree with Lou and Aqua. Personally, I hate the term. Why do we have to use terms that seem to always make women sound bad or make it sound like it's a so terrible to be female or like a female or, like Aqua said, to want to do something with your female SO rather than "the boys"? You don't hear people saying that she's "dick whipped." Or why "son of a bitch" but never "son of a bastard"? Or what's so terrible about being a "mother fucker," unless you're being accused of fucking your OWN mother? Even mothers love sex, or at least most of us do. Or, "Gee, fella, you throw like a girl!" But if you told a girl that she throws like a boy, that'd be a compliment. Or, "You drive like an old lady." You don't hear, "You drive like an old man." I could go on and on. (Or am I just being a "bitch"?) :D

Well, I think I know the term and yes I am. I have been my whole adult life. Whether I am dominant or she, I am PWed. By the way, I am family whipped too!

Well I'm not pussy whipped. I do however bend more often than not but because I'm fairly easy going. When things matter to me I'm not afraid to speak up.
Oh Jenn, I can't see anybody having to call you a bitch.... it's easy to get a message across with more subtle methods. I'm more of a eye contact communicator... ask my kids.

I recently had some issue with my s/o being called "pussy whiped" by his friends at work. They ragged on him cause he called me from work if he was gonna be late and such. They told him that I was controling him and he needed to "be a man" and make his own decisions. They did this to him for about a week before he finally caved in and went out to a strip club and didn't get home till around 4 am. This caused problems between us and I told him that he needed to grow up and stand up for himself unless he thought he actually was pussy whipped, in which case he should be happy that he's got a pussy to come home to.
I kind of think that being branded in that way is an excuse for guys on why they do as their mate askes sometimes instead of being mature and understanding that a relationship is give and take and that there is nothing wrong with catering to your woman once in a while instead of being in charge all the time.

My ex-wife tried to control me that way, with-holding sex when
she was unhappy with me.
She got to the stage where she thought we should have a
trial separation, expecting me to stay at my Mum's.
I rang my best mate and asked if I could stay at his place.
"Hot shit are we going to have some fun" was his reply.
When I told the ex, she suddenly decided the trial was off.
Strange thing that. Maybe why she's my ex. lol

I'm not pussy whipped, but I do try to be reasonable ... for example one year I wanted to go to Minnesota and my wife wanted to go to the Smokie Mountains.
We discussed it like reasonable adults and I compromised and we went to the Smokies.
See how a little reasonableness helps. :)
