Men- For men who trim. After trimming above shaft, does it irritate ur skin and hurt?

yeah...it has a tendancy. I hear that the more you do it, the less razor burn you get but i stopped doing it and just started using a beard and mustache trimmer. gives you relative closeness with no burn and no pain when it starts growing back.
anti persperant works well on cutting back on irritation and razor burn though. Like, after shaving, just put some on..

No it doesn't, I have shaved above the shaft for a few years now, I usually shave in the shower, with no soap or shave cream or anything. Just started shaing half way to my belly button. then I did recieve a rash , but it has diminished quite a bit, but I hat shaving all the time, so I just started using Nads, hair remover.I, and my wife totaly love the look and feel of me bieng bald there.
