Dear pixie friends

I have been at my new job for 2 weeks now and am enjoying it a lot. Its very challenging being an estimator in structural steel and knowing very little about it. After not working for 2 years and being very ill in that time has made it hard to kick start the brain box lol.

However my years of experience in quoting and being able to detect the "nasties" in documentation and specifications is coming to the fore. I am already starting to get a handle on it and feel useful again with some purpose about my life.

my friends have been a great help to me and I often hear from Miss X, Nikki and Teddy all who I met through pixies.

I hear from Sassy rose, Lixy and Randygal at times too but somehow have lost contact with Steph :(.

I can tell you that Nikki is extremely happy and has found true love with Legend and is very busy finishing her degree at uni.

Miss X and Mr X are together and are very much in love as well.

I am too busy to post much these days, but do check the boards fairly regularly and send my best wishes to you all. This is the nicest place on the net and as long as I am connected I will be coming here and keeping my friendships.

Grumble, I am so happy to hear about the job and that it's going so well. I know that in no time of all you will have it mastered :)

Things have finally settled down here now that the taxes are done so I promise, I'll be in better touch *hugs*

Congrats, GG!
I have been unimployed only during halve a year, but I know how paralyzing it can be. You have very much luck to get a job now. My best wishes! Also for your health.

*keeping my fingers crossed for you*
