I was sitting today thinking, yes i do attempt this from time to time,,,,,go ahead and laugh,,,,pausing,,,,,,,,,,,,,ok enough, anyway i got to thinking

Pixies means diffrent things to diffrent people, but one thing the most of the masses agree on is its a great place, nomatter if your wasting time, relieving stress, stories, we all at some point make a friend are 2 hopefully more, but i was wondering when i am 80 years old good lord willing, will i remember this place? the great people i have met? i could imagine my shaky fingers and old timers trying to remember my password....lmao

just wondering if anyone else has ever had this thought?

Not sure if I will be here when I am in my "golden years", but the one thing I am sure of it that many of the things I have learned here (about myself and the world in general) I will take with me.. and no doubt I will reflect upon my time here warmly...

What an interesting point to ponder!

I've gotta say that if I don't get a new chair to sit on soon I won't be anywhere when I am 80........this chair is killing my posture and muscles! LMAO!

But, I agree with jenna..........even if I don't come back here in my golden years I will remember Pixies for the rest of my life (or until I get senile......whichever comes first.....LOL!).

horseman12~ It's good to see other people think about the same kinds of things I do. For me I just wonder if people realize the impact they have had on my life (that goes for here as well as in my everyday life) and if I have at all made an impression on them or in anyway added something positive to their lives. That's probably why I teach.

This place we create has served to be a sanctuary for me and I know that I will not soon forget the many lessons I have learned, the friends I have made, and all the intelligent, humorous and sexy things we have discussed. And I promise that if I am still here when I am 80 I will not post pics :p

I agree that I probably won't be here on line when I'm 80, but it would be nice to keep in touch with some of the wonderful ppl I've met here and have become close friends with.

At 80 maybe if we're lucky our grandkids will take us to the park to feed the ducks,,,,, and we'll reminisce about our perving days at Pixies.

A tough question . . . I know it's part of my daily surfing. I don't have kids, let alone grandkids but wonder if I'd want to leave my grandchildren to come perv . . . there are so many interesting topics to debate that I wouldn't be surprised to see me here in 50 years. Long live Pixies!

I think of things like this all the time...and then some...my life is a constant "what if type thing" i try not to...but it just happens. i beleive this place will be in my memory for the simple fact i have learned so much from this place. Also, got a lot of ideas on things i can try with that special someone. And some things on what not to do. Also got to see some great pics...guys and girls. i will remember this place expecially the friends i made here.

Anything that has had an impact on your life will be with you forever. :D I'm hoping this place becomes one of those for me.

horseman12,

I think all the members of this community are enriched by their exposure to the wide range of opinions received from Pixies world-wide membership. I’m sure we bring this broader perspective into our “non-Pixie” daily lives, and will carry it into our futures.

This couldn’t have happened before. I find it exiting.

Steph,

It is only with the advent of the internet, and more importantly, the World Wide Web, that a community such as this can exist.

We could not have exchanged letters to each other, for we would have had to send letters to everyone; that’s not only impractical, but most members don’t involve themselves with most threads. We could not have afforded it anyway. All of the spontaneity would be lost over the days between messages, and there could not be the simultaneousness through the post that is a given through posting.

Your location is Toronto. Mine is Maryland. Oldfart’s is Australia. Lilith’s is South of Hell …but I digress.

This community couldn’t have come to pass 20 years ago.
