*WARNING* I'm venting!!!!!

Mr. Lilith works for the state and the fuckwads have started with the bomb threats and stupid shit already.

Really, it pisses me right off when little pricks take the opportunity during a time like this to seek attention.

I really hope we won't have to deal with too much of that sort of behavior.

OK I'm done!:D

Jenna~ for many departments here that is the case. DEP here on summer had a bomb threat every day @3 pm to coincide with the afternoon rain showers...........but Mr Lilith has been with his department 12 years and today was the first one.

Lilith, unfortunately those "little pricks" aren't actually seeking attention, they are seeking not-so-cheap "cheap" thrills at the expense (financial, emotional, etc.) of many others. You see, most of those pathetic, weak, puny "little pricks" are nothing more than whimpering little cowards.

I know what you must be going through Lilith and Mr. Lilith! My husband works with explosives everyday and is currently taking tests to upgrade his engineering status. Because of the "assholes" who need the attention of the bomb threats and because of all the "assholes" who want to bomb buildings and such......these tests are now harder than ever for the men and women who need to have certain degrees and experience to handle explosives! The ATF and the DEP have even went so far as to have explosives companies review the past arrest records of it's employees and if there is one single arrestable crime at anytime in their lives...that employee is let go.....even if it was something as simple as trespassing. This may not sound too harsh.....but not many ppl have completely clean records throughout a lifetime! Even my hubbies boss had a trespassing charge when he was 17......but luckily he was never actually arrested for it. I can see where the need to crack down fits in (in these sad times), but I think that the caution is misplaced! The bomb threat callers......the parties interested in pipe bombs on the net.....the companies that keep no records or are lousy record keepers...etc. etc. etc.........are being passed over for legitimate companies with self regulating procedures that are above board! I guess they just don't know how to stop the actual threats and so they have to make themselves feel better by doing something.....anything.....to show that they are on top of things.

LixyChick---Suggestion!Depending on your financial condition&
husbands age!I don't know if they have it in your State, but a few
years ago(in N.H.),I went thru Superior Court & had a record annulment done. When you apply for a new job,you can HONESTLY
say that you have never been arrested!I reapplied for a concealed weapons permit after. They do an FBI check, when you
apply& nothing showed up.When you get an annullment, they are
supposed to notify, the police in the town that you were arrested
in,the police where you are living now,the State Police, the Attorney General,The FBI,etc.Hope this helps! Irish
P.S.Financially alone,it cost me $300+.

Thanks for the advice Irish. I will pass it along to those who had stupid arrests and had to be let go........but I fear the damage has been done for them already. Hubbies record, however, is clean as a whistle! He's never been arrested for anything.......though I hear some of the shit he used to pull when he was younger and I wonder how he never got caught! LOL!

BTW.......He passed his recent test with flying colors. He was so worried and yet he passed with 5 points to spare! The test was so much more difficult than his last ones. But in this day and age.....maybe that is a good thing to weed out the incompetents. He was amoung the handful in his class to pass. I gave him a BJ as a reward! Oops! TMI?

LOL! Thanks again hun!

Perhaps Mr Lilith can suggest to the people who call in bomb threats that, if they really want attention, they should post their nude pictures to this site. Be more constructive.

I used to work for an American Company here in the UK and just a fewe days after spet 11th we got a feew bomb threats. It was very annoying to say the least.........so many people had to go home after the all clear was given because they were too scacred to stay. It makes you wonder just how much fun these pricks get from making these hoax threats.

Any bomb threat is a serious matter but when there is a threat at a school..........that just gets me...

Our kids are growing up way to fast as it is and for them to be scared in a place where they should feel safe just tears me up. How do you explain to a 9 year old about the stupid people in our world????
