If you've got a question about a post, I feel better about pm than open boards. (of course, depends on the topic too. :D)

LMAO @ skip! I'm gonna be leary when I see a PM from you in the future! *cups hand over mouth and breathes out...just to check*

I PM to ask for help (Lilith), to flirt (nevermind who!), to say personal thank you's (to anyone who goes out of their way to say something nice to me in a reply or post), to flirt (oops....I still ain't telling who!), and just kinda stuff like that!

Hope that helps Scarecrow, hun!

I pm people to say hi if I've not seen them around on the boards or in chat for a while.

To send extra comments if I feel a post needs a little more than I said in the open forum.

To reply to Lixy.........errrr oooooooooops hehehe ;) ;)

To send that special someone a little message to let them know you're thinking about them :)

I PM to respond to member's questions, comments from people about my pics, to send a birthday greeting every once in a while, to remind someone not to post pics that are not their's, lots of reasons but mostly site stuff. Every once in a while I get to PM just for Hi, or flirtation.

Meant to mention that, Lil.

Lixy tells me that your flirting is down by 63% in the last seven days.

Hmmmm.

Lixy
42.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot!

... and so is she I think. ;)

Usually to thank someone or ask someone something.

Sometimes when I've seen someone maybe "mis-post" something, I'll send them a note so they can correct rather than tease them in an open forum.

I think that's maybe 63.2% of the reasons anyway. :D

LMAO! Hmmmmmmmmmm????? Only 6.2% of Pixies has responded to this question! I wonder if the other 84% (cause there is a margin of error ya know) is off doing other statistical thingy type stuff??? And what percentage isn't even here right now?

There must be at least 15.9% of all the members here at this time of night! Why aren't they answering? LOL!

*Didn't even know you guys read my sig.! Thought you only looked at my avatar.....LOL!*

I use PM to pretty well do anything but cyber

ie: talk to friends....to ask and answer questions...to air the odd grievence...

Numbers and %'s are not something the bear would PM someone for,,,,, mostly for the reasons already given: to say hello, how are you, its been awhile, etc. But also to say, 'whooooo baby thank you for last night'. ;)

Teddy :D :D

For me it's just what it stands for - Private Message - anything, for what ever reasons, I have to say that I prefer not to share in the open forums...

I don't mind receiving PM's of a friendly nature. Complimenting me on a story, or pics, stuff that is referring to what I have posted.

The PM's that I don't care for are from someone inviting me to cyber or chat in a private room... that makes me uncomfortable. I have gotten a few of those lately....

I worry about sending PM's to someone that I want to compliment also. I don't want to offend anyone...

All of the above reasons, (notable Scotzoidmans’) and I’ll send one to warn somebody I’m not TOO familiar with if I’m about to post a jab at their thread.;) LOL

(Most of the time if they’ve been here for a week, they already know not to take me seriously. Anybody that’s been here a month pays no attention to me all, so I’m pretty safe):)

Flirting of a personal nature, something beyond the usual posting on the forum. Hasn'
t worked yet though.

PF, nobody EVER takes me seriously!

Scarecrow,

I PM those who have PM'ed me, and I PM if it would be injudicious for the text to be exposed to all.
