Yep.. 4 movies in 10 days.. I think I can be a critic now..

In the past 10 days I have seen the following:

National Security (with Martin Lawrence). Comedy, and to be honest I didn't have much enthusiasm going in, but it turned out to be a little better (not much) than I had expected. To do it over again, would have waited on DVD.

Chicago (with Richard Gere, Renee Zellwigger). Musical. Took my mom to this one, and it was awesome. I am NOT the musical type but with the two leading characters you can't go wrong. Not to mention that Richard Gere is one hell of a good looking man.

DareDevil (with Ben Afleck and Jennifer Garner). Adventure. I took my son to it.. and it was actually very good. I didn't like the ending but was pleased (and shocked) when my little one reported that he likes DareDevil more than Spiderman. Who would have thunk it??

The life of David Gale (with Kevin Spacey). Incredibly awesome. It was 2 hours 10 minutes in length but it went by so quickly. So many twists and turns in the last 40 minutes that it keeps you drawn in. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Often my favorite part of going to the movies is seeing the previews of coming attractions... there are many good ones coming out this year... the HULK being on the top of the list... can't wait. PhoneBooth looks good... as does Down with Love.

Sooo.. have any of you seen some good movies lately that you recommend?

dont waste your money on Shanghai Knights, wait til it comes out on video.. its funny and everything but not as good as the first one and not worth the outrageous price of going to the movies

Santiago... I had heard that about Shanghai Knights :( I had planned on taking my son to it since he really likes Jackie Chan and enjoyed the first one. I will certainly rent it on DVD tho

Lilith.. DON'T miss David Gale.. it was great, one that I would see again.
