I'm usually only allowed to sing three things: Rock a bye Baby, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and the Carpenter's "Close to You." However, my children *will* dance to ABBA when I put it on. :D

Does anyone else sing in the keys of 'Q" and "X." Usually I try to suck on ice in 4:4 time. :)

Yes! LOL!

I'm being honest and it sounds rather conceited but.......Yes! I have an incredible voice.

I'm told I sing best when I am drunk and in the shower!
I think that means that the acoustics are wonderful in there and when I am drinking my vocal chords are more relaxed!

Do you think that's what that means? I sure do hope so!

But seriously.........I think I have a pretty good singing voice. My brother always wanted me to sing when he played guitar (the reason I took up guitar in the first place). I've never had a dog howl while I was singing. That's a good sign......ain't it? LOL! And babies don't scream when I start to sing to them.....another good sign....right?

lol@Booger! :D

You're absolutely right. I guess I should have said, "I don't embarass myself at karaoke." I have a decent voice--not great, but they haven't kicked me out of choir yet, and I sang in a regional chorus for a symphony opera production last year. Plus, I enjoy it a great deal. :)

Honestly, I have a box of medals and trophies from singing...but then....puberty...no more soprano skip.....so now i have a very deep voice and only sing softly to my kids or in a lovely ladies ear when dancing.

I can carry a tune... Not great, but good. :D I did Stairway to Heaven at a Karaoke bar once and right afterward a guy looked up and said, "You're the only person I've ever heard do that song right."

I hope he WASN'T including Robert Plant in that?? :) LOL!

Anyhow...... I've been told I can sing "reasonably" well, I just have to pick the right song!! My (9 yr old) daughter says I'm a "rubbish" singer, and tells me to shut up if I sing along to stuff on the radio!! That's kids for ya, I guess!!!
