Our little guy, Pokey, passed away two days before my surgery back in November. He's now buried out in our back yard with two stones and a small concrete statue of a kitty marking his place.

On Valentine's Day, my wife got this card with his picture on the front ...

"Happy Valentine's Day, Momma

I do hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day. I wanted you to know that I love the kitty statue you and dad put by my grave. That was nice of you. More than that, I want you to not worry about me. Heaven is wonderful and while I miss you all, I know one day we'll all be together again. I plan on meeting you right at the gate and give you lots of kisses. Please tell the boys and dad that I love them, too.

Can you believe, I even play with the birdies and bunnies and am good friends with them! Pretty neat, huh? ... God bless you!"

Two paw prints were they for his signature.

We miss the precious little guy a very great deal. He was pretty special.
