Has anybody else found some way of interfacing with the world that produced better than the normal results (or non-results)?
Like when making a business call and you have to leave a message with somebody else for your intended party. I ALWAYS end my call by asking “…and WHO did I leave this message with?” ……………………. You can always hear the momentary pause before they give you their name. They can SEE you writing it down! (whether you do or not;)) I just seems to help get the message DELIVERED.
When I was doing some business traveling and just looking for a clean, cheap crash pad, I found the way I asked for a wake-up call made a difference. In the little places that didn’t have automated phone systems, I would ask for “zero six hundred:cool:” instead of just 6 o’clock:rolleyes:. It seemed to not only make certain I was called, (which didn’t happen a couple times before:mad: ) it made them VERY prompt:D. LOL I don’t know why using the 24-hour system [which is NOT “military time”, a separate subject that I’ll be happy to talk to anybody about ] changes their attitude and treatment, but it does!
What “triggers” or “spins” do you use to cause the world to react differently?
